摘要: A non-transitory storage medium stores instructions readable by an information processing apparatus. The instructions cause the information processing apparatus to: obtain a type of a printer; obtain a combination between a type of a printing medium and a color of a coloring agent for printing of a code; determine whether the obtained combination is included in a first combination or whether the obtained combination is included in a second combination; and output an alert message when the obtained combination is included in the second combination or not included in the first combination. A combination between the color and the type of the printing medium printable by the printer of the obtained type includes the first combination in which a probability of reading of the code is a first value and the second combination in which the probability is a second value less than the first value.

摘要: A system and method for printing an indicia on a graphic medium is described. A print mechanism is operable for marking multiple printouts of the indicia at a target position on the graphic medium, and for outputting a printed media product. The printed media product has a first output group of the marked printouts, and continuous with the output of the first group of printouts, at least one output group of the printouts marked subsequent to the first output group. A controller is operable for adjusting the print mechanism in response to an input related to an evaluation of the printouts marked on the first output group. The adjustment conforms a position at which the printouts are marked in the at least one subsequent output group spatially to the target position.

摘要: A printing method or system for making a security-enhanced scratch-off document and the document so made are disclosed. The security-enhanced document includes a substrate, variable indicia, at least one other printed portion having background noise, and a scratch-off-coating layer applied over the variable indicia to maintain the variable indicia unreadable until the scratch-off-coating is removed by being scratched off. The variable indicia includes ink having a signal-to-noise ratio relative to the background ink noise of the document's at least one other printed portion, such that the variable indicia are unreadable with reference to the at least one other printed portion when the scratch-off-coating remains intact. Additionally, digitally imaging countermeasures to unassisted and assisted mechanical SOC lift are also disclosed. These methods and systems enhance the overall appearance of the ticket as well as potentially reduce the time and setup costs between print runs.

摘要: A printer system for printing an image on an object and verifying its accuracy. The printer system generally includes a printer which is adapted to print an image on a printing medium such as a roll of web paper. The image may include product data related to a product being stored in product packaging, such as a machine-readable code. The product data may be printed on a label to be affixed to product packaging, or on the product packaging itself. A reference image is printed on the printing medium and a sensor scans the printed image. By comparing the printed image to the reference image, a computing device may detect defects and distinguish between a defective printed image and a correct printed image.

The detection section detects the existence of the label peeled off by a peeling bar which peels off the label attached to the mount. 摘要: A method for printing an image with authentication features, including: printing a media treatment material onto a print medium in accordance with a pattern of predefined authentication features, and printing one or more visible printing materials onto the print medium in accordance with an image pattern, thereby providing a printed visible image. The media treatment material alters an interaction between the visible printing materials and the print medium so that characteristics of the interaction, such as printing material penetration characteristics, are different in image regions where the media treatment material was printed than in image regions where the media treatment material was not printed. The difference in the characteristics of the interaction between the one or more visible printing materials and the print medium causes the pattern of authentication features to be detectable.
