摘要: A diaphragm spring whose outer marginal portion is a circumferentially complete annulus and whose inner marginal portion surrounds a centrally located opening and is formed with a set of radially extending prongs directly surrounding the opening and separated from each other by relatively short radially extending inner slots. The inner marginal portion is further formed with relatively long radially extending outer slots each of which is spaced apart from and registers with one of the inner slots and has an enlarged outer end portion inwardly adjacent to the outer marginal portion. Still further, the inner marginal portion has radially extending elongated closed slots which alternate with pairs of aligned inner and outer slots and each of which partially overlaps the adjacent inner and outer slots.

摘要: This invention relates to a diaphragm spring serving as a clutch spring for applying engaging force to the clutch, in which a shot-peened layer is provided only on a concave rear surface of said diaphragm spring, especially only on a surface of the pressure plate side of a peripheral annulus which is subjected to tensile stress in engaging the clutch. According to this invention, an early decrease (yielding) in spring force of said diaphragm spring can be avoided.

摘要: According to an embodiment, it is a clutch arrangement comprising a first rotating means with at least one friction unit and a second rotating means with at least one pressure unit; wherein the friction unit is configured to be moved between an opened position and a closed position, wherein in the closed position, a force is transmitted between the first rotating means and the second rotating means and wherein in the opened position, no force is transmitted between the first rotating means and the second rotating means; at least one shim means arranged at the first rotating means, whereby the shim means are configured to prevent a contact between the friction unit and the pressure unit, when the friction unit is in the opened position; and wherein the clutch arrangement is configured to be a component of a vehicle.

摘要: A transmission includes an input shaft coupled to a prime mover, a countershaft, main shaft, and an output shaft, with gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. A shift actuator selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft by rotatably coupling gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. The shift actuator is mounted on an exterior wall of a housing including the countershaft and the main shaft. An integrated actuator housing is operationally coupled to the shift actuator and a linear clutch actuator. The linear clutch actuator is a self-adjusting actuator, and the transmission includes a self-adjusting clutch.
