摘要: There is provided a brake assembly structure for a transmission. An automatic transmission includes a torque converter, a transmission case, and a two-way clutch and a first brake which are accommodated in the transmission case and adjacent to each other. The first brake includes a drum, an outer plate that is fixed to the drum in such a manner that the outer plate is unrotatable with respect to the drum, an inner disk that comes in contact with the outer plate in an axial direction, and a hub to which the inner disk is fixed in such a manner that relative rotation is not permitted. The drum is provided separately from the transmission case and includes a hydraulic chamber. The two-way clutch is assembled in the transmission case and the first brake is then assembled in the transmission case.

摘要: A hybrid module is provided for the drivetrain of a motor vehicle, which drivetrain has an electric machine, an internal combustion engine and a transmission. The hybrid module has (i) a first unit with a rotor element and a separating clutch which is arranged within the rotor element, (ii) a second unit with a clutch device comprising at least one clutch, and (iii) a third unit with a housing part. The first unit and the second unit are connected to each other to form a preassembled overall unit, and said overall unit is installed projecting into the third unit and is connected here to the third unit. A hybrid module constructed in such a manner can be produced by means of particularly simple assembly and is very compact. A method for assembly of said hybrid module is also provided.

摘要: A hydrokinetic torque coupling device for coupling together a driving shaft and a driven shaft features a casing including a casing shell and an impeller casing shell, an impeller including the impeller shell, a turbine-piston including a turbine-piston shell, and an elastic element slidably engaging the turbine-piston and being connected to the casing. The elastic element is configured to bias the turbine-piston toward the impeller. The casing is rotatable about a rotational axis so that the impeller shell is disposed axially opposite to and fixedly connected to the casing shell. The turbine-piston is coaxially aligned with and hydro-dynamically drivable by the impeller.

摘要: A limited-slip driveline apparatus including a first driveline component that is rotatable relative to a second driveline component. The driveline apparatus also includes a clutch. The driveline apparatus further includes an actuation arrangement for actuating the clutch. The actuation arrangement includes a hydraulic pump that pumps hydraulic fluid through a hydraulic circuit when relative rotation exists between the first and second driveline components. The hydraulic pressure generated by the hydraulic pump within the hydraulic circuit is used to actuate the clutch. The actuation arrangement also includes a flow regulating valve for regulating a hydraulic fluid flow rate through the hydraulic circuit. The flow regulating valve is configured to prevent the hydraulic fluid flow rate from exceeding a set maximum flow rate regardless of a magnitude of the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic circuit.

摘要: A torsional vibration damper includes a planetary gear set connected to a transmission input shaft, including a sun gear, a carrier, and a ring gear. A spring cage includes a first spring support member connected to the ring gear having multiple first spring contact members. A second spring support member is connected to the carrier and rotates with respect to the first spring support member. The second spring support member has multiple second spring contact members angularly oriented with respect to the first spring contact members. Multiple springs having opposed ends are positioned between and are compressed by rotation of the first or the second spring support member. The springs compress and extend to absorb vehicle engine vibration pulses. Each end of the springs has one of the multiple first spring contact members and or one of the multiple second spring contact members positioned proximate thereto.

摘要: In a transmission with a lockup clutch, in a case where zero-slip control of the lockup clutch is not established (converged) within a predetermined time, a sweep increase of a lockup clutch hydraulic pressure starts at an increase rate smaller than a normal increase rate in a case where the zero-slip control is established within the predetermined time, the increase rate until the end of the sweep increase is set to be equal to or less than the normal increase rate, and in addition, a hydraulic pressure at the time of the end of the sweep increase is set to be equal to or greater than a hydraulic pressure in a case where the zero-slip control is established within the predetermined time. With such control, in a case where the zero-slip state is not brought, suppressing the occurrence of shock when complete engagement is carried out.

The turbine-piston includes a turbine-piston shell having a turbine-piston flange with an engagement surface that is movable axially toward and away from an engagement surface of the piston engagement member to position the hydrokinetic torque coupling device into and out of a lockup mode in which the turbine-piston is mechanically locked to and non-rotatable relative to the piston engagement member.

摘要: A force transmitting assembly includes a mounting flange having a central opening to receive a shaft, wherein the mounting flange is mountable on a frame, a rotor disc mountable on the shaft and rotatable with the shaft, the rotor disc having a first planar face and a second planar face, a float plate having a first friction surface engageable with the first planar face, and a pressure plate having a second friction surface engageable with the second planar face. The brake assembly also includes a spring housing, which operates as a piston, and a cylinder coupled to the spring housing to form a fluid pressure chamber, wherein the spring housing moves in a first direction when pressurized fluid enters the fluid pressure chamber and the spring housing moves in a second direction when pressurized fluid exits the fluid pressure chamber. The assembly further includes a plurality of nested tube subassemblies supporting the float plate, the pressure plate, and the spring housing to allow axial movement of at least one of the float plate, the pressure plate, and the spring housing. The nested tube subassemblies also transmit torque from the rotor to the mounting flange during the engaged condition of the brake assembly.
