Fuel injectors are located in the four quadrants and each fuel injector has either a first or second type nozzle attached to it. The first and second type fuel nozzles are located in an array so that at least two of one nozzle type are located together to allow for non-uniform injector spacing with uniform downstream temperatures.

The wellhead gas burner may also be configured as a primary heat source and integrated with a traditional gas burner system configured as a supplemental heat source. The wellhead gas burner and the traditional gas burner may also be operated simultaneously. The wellhead gas burner may also be mounted to a mobile superheater truck.

    摘要: A steam generator system employing a fired burner with a flue gas recirculation system with low NOx emission is disclosed. A method to retrofit fired burners for low NOx emission is also disclosed. In the system, the flue gas recirculation system is configured to include a pre-mixer, and the recirculated flue gas (RFG) is routed to the stage of the pre-mixer for mixing with a portion of the fuel stream, forming a secondary RFG fuel mixture. The secondary RFG fuel mixture is routed to the secondary stage of the burner via a plurality of injector ports. The injection of the second RFG fuel mixture results in a reduction of temperature for the NOx emission to be less than 5 ppm at 3% O2, dry basis.

    摘要: An oxygen transport reactor for boiler furnaces and gas turbine combustors that utilizes a liquid fuel that is oxidized as a gaseous fuel in a membrane reactor. A liquid fuel is introduced by vaporizing the fuel inside a porous pipe surrounded by an annulus reaction zone which is surrounded by an annulus air zone. An oxygen transport membrane separates the annulus reaction zone containing the porous vaporized fuel and sweeping CO2 from the air feed side zone. Oxygen is transported from the outer annulus through the membrane to the annulus reaction zone containing the vaporized fuel and sweeping CO2. Fuel is first cracked to very small droplets in the intake fuel atomizer utilizing part of the intake CO2 then completely vaporized inside the porous pipe utilizing the heat coming from the surrounding reaction zone. The oxygen transport reactor is applicable for carbon free boiler furnaces and gas turbine combustors which utilize oxygen transport reactors for combined oxygen separation and combustion.

    摘要: A low NOx combustion method includes steps of injecting reactants into a combustion chamber. A primary reactant stream, including fuel and combustion air premix, is injected from a premix burner port into the combustion chamber. A staged fuel stream is injected into the combustion chamber from a staged fuel injector port adjacent to the premix burner port. A stream of recirculated flue gas is injected into the combustion chamber from a flue gas injector port that is adjacent to the premix burner port and adjacent to the staged fuel injector port. In this manner, the stream of recirculated flue gas is injected into the combustion chamber unmixed with the primary reactant stream and unmixed with the staged fuel stream.
