摘要: A method for providing a signed video bitstream suitable for transcoding from a first video format into a second video format, the method comprising: obtaining first video data in a lossy first video format; reconstructing a video sequence from the first video data; encoding the reconstructed video sequence as second video data in a second video format; computing first fingerprints of the first video data and second fingerprints of the second video data; deriving a first bitstring from the first fingerprints and a second bitstring from the second fingerprints; and providing a signed video bitstream, which includes the first video data and signature units, each signature unit including a first digital signature of the derived first bitstring and second digital signature of the derived second bitstring.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses of encoding a video stream using video point cloud coding include obtaining a source point cloud; generating a geometry map and a texture map based on the source point cloud; generating a reconstructed geometry map and a reconstructed texture map using lossy coding without using recoloring, wherein a resolution of the reconstructed geometry map is same as a resolution of the reconstructed texture map; obtaining a point of the source point cloud corresponding to a geometry pixel of the geometry map and a texture pixel of the texture map; selecting a color of the texture pixel based on a color of the obtained point; and generating an encoded video stream based on the selected color, the geometry map, and the texture map.

摘要: A video coding mechanism is disclosed. The mechanism includes receiving a bitstream comprising a plurality of coded sequences of point cloud coding (PCC) frames. The plurality of coded sequences of PCC frames represent a plurality of PCC attributes including geometry, texture, and one or more of reflectance, transparency, and normal. Each coded PCC frame is represented by one or more PCC network abstraction layer (NAL) units.
The mechanism also includes parsing the bitstream to obtain, for each PCC attribute, an indication of one of a plurality of video codecs used to code the corresponding PCC attribute. The mechanism also includes decoding the bitstream based on the indicated video codecs for the PCC attributes.-

摘要: A method for transmitting a bitstream via a network is provided. The bitstream is for coding a current block and is generated by: deriving a first candidate from a first motion vector that has been used to code a first block; coding a first index identifying a reference picture to be used for coding the current block; deriving a second candidate having a second motion vector that includes a non-zero value, which is assigned to the reference picture; and coding a second index identifying a selected candidate to be used for coding the current block. The second motion vector is not derived by coding a block adjacent to the current block, and the non-zero value is assigned by offset values which include an OffsetX and an OffsetY and which are located in a picture header.

摘要: A method and device for controlling coding tools are provided. The video decoding method includes decoding, from a high level of a bitstream, an enable flag indicating whether one or more coding tools are enabled. The coding tools includes a first coding tool that encodes sample values using luma component mapping based on a piecewise linear model. The method includes acquiring a value of an application flag depending on a value of the enable flag, by setting the application flag indicating whether to apply the coding tools to a predetermined value, or by decoding the application flag from a low level of the bitstream, the application flag including a first application flag indicating whether to apply the first coding tool. The coding tools are operated when the value of the application flag is a value indicating that the coding tools are applied.

摘要: A coding efficiency increase is achieved by using a common signalization within the bitstream with regard to activation of merging and activation of the skip mode. One possible state of one or more syntax elements within the bitstream may signalize for a current sample set of a picture that the sample set is to be merged and has no prediction residual encoded and inserted into the bitstream. A common flag may signalize whether the coding parameters associated with a current sample set are to be set according to a merge candidate or to be retrieved from the bitstream, and whether the current sample set of the picture is to be reconstructed based on a prediction signal depending on the coding parameters associated with the current sample set, without any residual data, or to be reconstructed by refining the prediction signal depending on the coding parameters associated with the current sample set by means of residual data within the bitstream.

摘要: Systems and methods for enhanced video encoding identify patterns in sequences of raw digital video frames to extract features and identify the type of content represented by the extracted features. The system simulates many outcomes of encoding the sequence of digital video frames by using various different encoding strategies to find the relative best encoding strategy for each sequence of frames. As the encoder processes video, it passes digital video frames to a modeling system which determines whether the video, or video having that same type of content, has been previously observed by the system. The system then selectively applies a saved encoding strategy that had been determined by the system to be particularly suitable for encoding the same sequence of video frames or that same type of content.
