摘要: An apparatus configured to assist with beverage preparation can include a main body having an outer housing, a weigh pan coupled to the main body, one or more user input components and a display component disposed at the outer housing, and a processor disposed within the main body. The weigh pan can support beverage components to be weighed, the user input components can accept user inputs regarding desired settings for beverage preparation, and the display component can display outputs regarding weights detected on the weigh pan The processor can facilitate automatically detecting the weight of ground coffee placed atop the weigh pan, determining a water target weight based on the detected ground coffee weight and a water ratio setting, detecting the water target weight being reached while water is being poured over the ground coffee, and providing output to a user when the water target weight is reached.

摘要: A self-weighing container for transporting delivery items includes a weight-sensing device that is configured to sense a weight of a delivery item that is placed inside the container; a microcontroller that is connected to the weight-sensing device; and a display that is connected to the microcontroller. When a delivery item is placed in the container, the weight-sensing device produces a signal that corresponds to the weight of the delivery item and the microcontroller receives the signal and determines the weight of the delivery item based on the signal. The microcontroller may transmit an indication of the weight to the display, which displays the weight based on the indication of the weight, or the microcontroller may transmit the weight to a smart phone for display.

One system includes a first touchless button, a first visual indicator associated with the first touchless button, a second touchless button, coupled to an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to, in response to receiving the first signal, switch second touchless button from a dormant mode to an active mode and activate the first visual indicator. The electronic processor is configured to, in response to receiving the second signal, execute a function of the scale associated with the second touchless button. The electronic processor is configured to switch the second touchless button from the active mode to the dormant mode.
