摘要： A resilient member for connecting a crystal to a watch casing in which the crystal is used for generating acoustic signals. The member is of generally annular configuration with an inner portion rigidly connected to the circumference of the crystal, an outer peripheral portion connected to a supporting member of the watch casing, and a free portion extending between the inner portion and the outer peripheral portion. The free portion has a width and a thickness which permits flexing in a direction normal to the plane of the crystal so that the crystal can vibrate in a direction normal to its plane and act as an acoustical transmitting member.

摘要： The present invention has as an object the provision of an electromechanical analogic display device for electronic chronometers, comprising at least an electromagnetic motor controlled by an electrical impulse of short duration. The attractive influence of the latter distorts a spring, very rapidly storing the produced energy to release it in the form of kinetic energy and driving a toothed wheel coupled to the analogic display while on the other hand this electromagnetic motor activates a locking system permitting the passage of a single tooth per cycle, and thus assures for said device immunity from mechanical shocks and most particularly from tangential accelerations.

摘要： An electro-acoustic transducer of electromagnetic type is composed of an exciting part having a magnetic core wound with an exciting coil, a vibrating plate provided opposite to the magnetic core at an interval and a ferromagnetic thin plate mounted to the vibrating plate. The thin plate is provided on the surface of the vibrating plate on the side of the magnetic core, so that the thin plate is not exposed to the open air. Furthermore, the thin plate is connected to the vibrating plate at plural points more than three or at a part with some area. Such connection restrains undesirable vibration of the thin plate.

摘要： A watch of the watertight type has a housing including a downwardly apertured housing portion for transmitting sound. A diaphragm is attached to the housing in a manner effecting a watertight seal. The diaphragm is capable of flexure toward and away from the apertured housing portion. A piezo electric buzzer element is secured internally of the diaphragm and is responsive to electrical excitation for producing a buzzing sound. An electrical circuit is connected to the piezo element for electrically exciting the piezo element. A safety mechanism is provided for preventing an excessive amount of flexure of the diaphragm in response to pressure acting thereon. A first safety element is secured to the diaphragm. A second safety element is secured to the housing. The first safety element is movable, with the diaphragm, relative to the second safety element in an inward direction away from the apertured housing portion. The second safety element includes a stop for contacting the first safety element to limit the amount of flexure of the diaphragm.

摘要： A switching mechanism for an electronic timepiece is disclosed. The switching mechanism comprises an external means for selectively activating an internal switching assembly. The external means is rotatably coupled to a grooved rod member which is in turn coupled to the internal assembly. Various contact arms disposed across the grooved rod member are adapted to become selectively disposed on various electrical contacts in the timepiece. By rotating the grooved rod member, these arms are selectively disposed on or off corresponding electrical contacts thus causing the internal switch assembly to be turned ON or OFF. By the use of the invented switching mechanism, various internal switching assemblies such as for alarm systems and the like may be easily activated and deactivated without the problems associated with prior art switching mechanisms.

摘要： A control signal generator circuit for an annunciator such as an electric tone in the form of a buzzer or bell consisting of three principle circuits: a timer circuit; a multivibrator; and an amplifier circuit. These circuits are connected across a single power supply. The multivibrator provides the function of producing a series of pulses to the amplifier circuit for causing the annunciator to operate on an intermittent basis. The timer circuit provides the function of converting the operation of the annunciator from producing an intermittent audio signal to a continuous audio signal after a predetermined period of time.
