    摘要: The present invention describes a system, method and computer product program for computation of alarm time. The system includes an alarm device for generating an alarm. The system also includes an alarm application hosted on the alarm device for providing at least one user defined alarm condition. The system further includes an alarm engine for receiving the user defined alarm condition, initiating a probe to receive data from data sources, processing the received alarm conditions and the received data to compute the alarm time and next probe time repeating iteratively until the next probe time is greater than the computed alarm time. The system generates alarm at the computed alarm time when the next probe time becomes greater than the alarm time.

    摘要: The present invention is an alarm clock which emits cause and effect related sounds. The alarm clock provides for a user selectable “alarm sound” such as a “duck quacking” alarm sound, and a corresponding “terminating sound” such as a “boom and splash” terminating sound so as to simulate the sound of a shotgun blast and a duck falling into water in response to terminating a “duck quacking” alarm sound. In practice, using the alarm clock a user selects an alarm sound and an alarm time and then goes to sleep or performs another function. Upon arrival of the predetermined time, the alarm sound emits from the alarm clock waking or altering the user. The user then turns the alarm off causing a terminating sound, which corresponds to the alarm sound, and more especially to a sound associated with the termination of the alarm sound, to emit from the alarm clock.

    摘要: An alarm clock comprises at least one sensor for detecting a body activity level of a human being and is provided to produce a sequence of alarm signals. Each alarm signal within said sequence is suppressible on the detection of a predetermined body activity level. The body activity level required to suppress an alarm signal increases with each subsequent alarm signal within said sequence. A corresponding method for controlling a wake-up alarm comprises the production of a sequence of alarm signals, each alarm signal within said sequence being suppressible on the detection of a predetermined body activity level of a human being, wherein the predetermined body activity level required to suppress an alarm signal increases with each subsequent alarm signal within said sequence. The body activity level of a human being is detected during said sequence, and a present alarm signal is suppressed when the body activity level presently detected is greater than the predetermined body activity level required to suppress the present alarm signal.

    摘要: An alarm clock with an alarm system which can be deactivated by means of either a local or remote manually operated push button switch which must be held in a depressed condition for a predetermined period of time in order to effectively deactivate the clock alarm. Means is provided to adjust the length of required switch hold-down time. An indicator is provided for showing the completion of the required hold-down period. In the case of remote deactivation, wherein the user must walk to the location of the push button switch, a radio link is employed to couple the remotely located switch with the locally positioned clock alarm system and to provide the desired alarm deactivation. The completion of the hold down period is signalled either by visual indicating means or by audible sounding means. Failure to complete the required hold-down period causes the normal audible alarm signal to be turned back on, and a new switch hold-down cycle for the required preset time period must be commenced for deactivation of the alarm. Local/remote switching circuitry is provided to allow the user to select a preferred control location for terminating an alarm cycle. The system may comprise separable modules and may include a separable standard broadcast radio receiver module.
