    摘要: An autonomous radio timepiece (11) with a magnetic antenna (14) located in the vicinity of a electromechanical transducer (25) for driving a time display (19), in order to obtain a radio timepiece with a small volume and operable in a compact manner. To avoid electromagnetic interference with the antenna inlet of a tuned radio-frequency receiver (12), the transducer (25) is deactivated while the receiver (12) is actuated for the reception and coding of an absolute time information (15) transmitted by radio. A subsequent recovery of the transducer drive pulses (42) for autonomous time keeping corrects the display (19). However, a transducer (25.1) may remain in uninterrupted operation if it is located relative to the antenna coil (33) with the relative position of its core (34) in a manner such that components of the stray current or electro magnetic field (39) exiting from the frontal side of the transducer field coil (39) in a fan-like manner passes through the antenna coil (33) in opposite directions, so that the two components (39a, 39b) of the stray current offset or cancel each other out. In a two-motor radio timepiece mechanism, the second transducer (25.2), the stator stray current (39.2) thereof cannot be compensated in the antenna coil (33), remains deactivated during the operation of the receiver and is assigned to the display means (19) with the slowest advancing action, for example, the hour hand in case of a separate drive of the minute and possibly the seconds hand.

    摘要: A radio-controlled timepiece contains a mechanism for the detection and correction of a hands setting. The mechanism includes a sender and a receiver for sending and receiving, respectively, a radiation beam. A hands setting mechanism includes an hour wheel, a minute wheel, and a seconds wheel, each possessing an aperture therethrough. The hour wheel has a front mirror located proximate the beam sender for reflecting a beam to the receiver. The front mirror has an interruption defined by the aperture of the hour disk in order to pass the beam through that aperture to a rear mirror disposed remote from the sender, such that a beam reflects from the rear mirror only after passing through aligned apertures in the disks. The hour wheel is movable independently of the minute wheel and seconds wheel, and the minute wheel and seconds wheel are rotatably interconnected.

    摘要: An autonomous radio timepiece comprises a casing and a bracelet attached thereto. The casing includes an operating circuit, while the bracelet carries a flexible antenna. The antenna can be removed from the bracelet in the event that the bracelet is worn and must be discarded. The antenna carries a plug-in type connector at one end which is adapted to make a tight sealing connection with the casing, and is also adapted to electrically connect the antenna with the circuit of the casing. The circuit within the casing includes a receiver which is fixedly tuned as a function of the antenna inductivity of a foil core to the time message transmitter. Also provided is a variable automatic supplemental tuner to compensate for bending of the bracelet while the receiver is actuated. The antenna comprises a foil of an insulting material on which an antenna conductor is printed, along with two shielding conductors extending parallel to the antenna conductor.

    摘要: In an electronic wristwatch a hands mechanism is adjusted manually by a pull-out stem. When the stem is pulled out, it displaces a correction wheel to operatively connect the stem with the hands mechanism. The correction wheel is moved tiltingly so that only a force-transmission side thereof (adjacent the hands mechanism) is raised and lowered. The opposite side of the correction wheel serves as a fulcrum for such tilting motion. The force-transmission side thus moves within a chamber conventionally provided in the hands mechanism and thus minimizes the height of the watch.

    摘要: A watch of the watertight type has a housing including a downwardly apertured housing portion for transmitting sound. A diaphragm is attached to the housing in a manner effecting a watertight seal. The diaphragm is capable of flexure toward and away from the apertured housing portion. A piezo electric buzzer element is secured internally of the diaphragm and is responsive to electrical excitation for producing a buzzing sound. An electrical circuit is connected to the piezo element for electrically exciting the piezo element. A safety mechanism is provided for preventing an excessive amount of flexure of the diaphragm in response to pressure acting thereon. A first safety element is secured to the diaphragm. A second safety element is secured to the housing. The first safety element is movable, with the diaphragm, relative to the second safety element in an inward direction away from the apertured housing portion. The second safety element includes a stop for contacting the first safety element to limit the amount of flexure of the diaphragm.
