Disclosed herein is a method of a user equipment (UE) for non-terrestrial network (NTN) the method comprising: receiving, from a network, assistance information related to the non-terrestrial network (NTN) for cell reselection; and performing a measurement on a neighbouring cell for the cell reselection based on the assistance information, wherein the assistance information includes ephemeris information on the neighbouring cell. In the embodiments, the assistance information is included in a system information block (SIB) broadcast by at least one of a serving cell or the neighbouring cell.

摘要: A method for operating a replication control module is provided. The method comprises determining that a handover takes place by which a data session exchanged via a cellular network between a serving application instance and a user equipment is transferred from the serving application instance to a target application instance selected from a plurality of application instances located in a cloud environment. The method further includes determining a location of the target application instance in the cloud environment; determining target replica locations of replica of a session state data individually on a per session basis for said data session taking into account the location of the target application instance; and transmitting location information to a data handling module allowing the data handling module to distribute the replica to the determined locations of the target replica locations.

摘要: A communication system and method for supporting a plurality of vehicle-to-everything radio access technologies (V2X RATs) is provided. The communication system configured to support multiple V2X RATs transmits, using a first V2X RAT, an indication of its availability to support an interworking function between the plurality of V2X RATs. The communication system receives an instruction to provide the interworking function between different V2X RATs. The interworking function may be incorporated in a vehicle that is joined to a platoon configured to use a first V2X RAT, and provide the interworking function between the first and a second V2X RAT. The interworking function may be used to add further vehicles to the platoon that communicate using only the second V2X RAT.

A method performed by an access and mobility management function (AMF) in a wireless communication system may include receiving, from an unmanned aerial system (UAS) service supplier (USS), flight-related information about a UE; determining at least one candidate base station to be used by the UE, based on the flight-related information about the UE; transmitting, to the at least one candidate base station, a request message for requesting aviation communication-related information about the at least one candidate base station; receiving, from the at least one candidate base station, a response message including aviation communication-related information about the at least one candidate base station; and generating a handover list to be used by the UE, based on the flight-related information about the UE and the aviation communication-related information about the at least one candidate base station.
