摘要： A bolt action firearm that cocks the firing pin upon closing the bolt and includes a cam pin with dual heads for a high velocity rimfire cartridge. In one embodiment, actuating the main spring while closing the bolt, instead of while opening the bolt, more uniformly distributes the physical energy required by the user over the bolt actuation cycle. The dual heads of the cam pin provide symmetric reactive forces with dual cam slots, thereby preventing the cam pin from skewing or canting within the cam slots. A safety system is provided for the trigger mechanism and a robust connecting systems for the stock.

摘要： A gun trigger-looking device which is configured to be manually installed on a gun with a trigger-blocking member disposed behind the trigger to prevent the gun from being fired. The device includes a data receiver, a data memory and a logic device for determining whether data received by the receiver is the same as data stored in the memory. If a data match is indicated, the logic device causes an electromagnetic device to move a locking member to an unlocked position, permitting the trigger-blocking member to be manually removed from the gun so the gun can be fired. A separate electronic key is provided to transmit unlock data to the data receiver of the trigger-locking device. This unlock data may be a password, a long pseudo-random number or biologic data identifying the gun owner or some other person who is licensed or otherwise authorized to fire the gun.

摘要： A firing mechanism for a sporting rifle includes a piston, a rigid profile, a trigger and a trigger safety catch. A wall is firmly attached to the rigid profile. The trigger and safety catch are on one of the faces of said wall. A first stud is firmly attached to the trigger. A cover partially covers the trigger and safety catch. The cover includes an aperture, in the form of a slider, allowing the first stud to pass through it and for movement of the first stud along the length of the aperture. A slider is arranged over the cover. When the barrel is in the broken position, the slider will block the movement of the stud along the length of the aperture, thus immobilizing the trigger. When the barrel is in the closed position, the slider allows movement of the first stud along the aperture.

摘要： Applicants have disclosed an improved trigger assembly for firearms, and a related method, to avoid premature firing after an unintentional trigger pull, especially where light trigger pulls have previously been set. In the preferred embodiment, Applicants' trigger assembly has two non-coaxial triggers: a slotted primary trigger and a secondary trigger which can pivot into the slot. During an intentional trigger pull, the shooter's finger initially pushes against the secondary trigger until it pivots and nestles within the primary trigger's slot. Continued pulling on both the secondary and primary triggers causes a sear to fall off the primary trigger and the firearm to discharge. In an unintentional trigger pull, where the secondary trigger is not pulled back enough to nestle within the primary trigger's slot, a protrusion on the secondary trigger blocks the sear from falling, thereby avoiding discharge.
