摘要： A cable system is provided which can accomodate electrical and optical cabling. The conductors of the system employ a layer which is impedance-matched to space, decreasing their cross-section to electromagnetic interference. The conductors of the system also employ a layer which symmetrizes electromagnetic interference signals, reducing the effect of interference and crosstalk on the signals carried by the conductors. The system also includes a node interface device for connection to a global electrical and fiber network. The node interface device connects to a user interface device through the cable.

摘要： An insulated wire with a noise-suppressing function includes a ring-shaped magnetic core, a coated wire inserted into the hole of the ring-shaped magnetic core, and a securing member for securing the ring-shaped magnetic core to the coated wire. The inner diameter of the ring-shaped magnetic core, namely the diameter of the hole, is set smaller than the outer diameter of the coated wire. The coated wire is formed of a pair of parallel conductive wires, a wire-coating member for coating the pair of conductive wires, and a sheath for covering the wire-coating member. The sheath is removed at one end of the coated wire. A part of the conductive wires which is coated only with the wire-coating member is inserted into the hole of the ring-shaped magnetic core.

摘要： A cable assembly includes a plurality of insulated wires that are arranged in groups of one or more wires with adjacent pairs of the groups being interconnected at any given longitudinal location over the length of the cable. Therefore, the cable defines spaced attachment zones and unattached zones for the groups of wires along the length of the cable with each of the attachment zones including the interconnection of only a single pair of the groups of wires, successive attachment zones being spaced by a respective unattached zone and successive attachment zones interconnecting alternating pairs of the groups of wires. All of the wires are preferably encased in a flexible jacket having a substantially circular cross-section. With this arrangement, the wires extend for the length of the cable without skew and yet the overall cable is extremely flexible.

The slit protecting tube 10 forms a protecting member for the unshielded section.
