摘要: A feedthrough assembly for an implantable medical device includes a housing, a solid insert, one or more conductive elements, a metal filler, and a non-corrosive sealant. The housing defines a central cavity through a height of the housing. The solid insert is disposed within the central cavity of the housing. The one or more conductive elements extend through one or more apertures defined within the solid insert and extend through the central cavity of the housing. The metal filler is disposed within a joint defined by an outer surface of the solid insert and an inner surface of the housing that defines the central cavity. The non-corrosive sealant coats a top surface of the metal filler to inhibit corrosion of the metal filler.

The housing includes at least a first housing element and a second housing element. The first housing element and the second housing element are fixedly connected to each other. The first housing element and the second housing element each include a base surface and two lateral surfaces. The base surface is arranged between the lateral surfaces. A first distance by which the lateral surfaces extends away from the base surface is greater than a second distance by which the lateral surfaces are spaced apart from each other. The base surface and the lateral surfaces of the first housing element have the same dimensions as the base surface and the lateral surfaces of the second housing element.

The exterior body has a first case and a second case which sandwich the electrode body and a sealing member that defines the cavity together with the first case and the second case by joining the first case and the second. The thermal expansion coefficients of the electrode body, the first case, the second case, and the sealing member are all 10×10−6/° C. or lower.

The first hole section is configured to accommodate an electrolyte injection nozzle, at least a part of a hole wall fits with an outer wall of the electrolyte injection nozzle to form an overflow prevention zone, and the overflow prevention zone is located above an electrolyte injection port in the electrolyte injection nozzle.

摘要: A cylindrical battery comprises an electrode body in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are wound with a separator therebetween, a bottomed cylindrical external can which accommodates the electrode body, and a sealing body which seals an opening of the external can. A bottom part of the external can has a reverse part which has a raised shape such that the reverse part protrudes toward the electrode body in the axial direction and which reverses when the pressure inside the battery reaches a first pressure. The sealing body has a sealing plate which releases gas that is inside the battery by breaking when the pressure inside the battery reaches a second pressure that is higher than the first pressure. The sealing plate functions as a safety valve.
