摘要: An insulation spacer applicable to a battery cell. The battery cell further includes a shell, a first tab, and a second tab of an opposite polarity to the first tab. The first tab is insulated from the shell. The insulation spacer includes a first wall face and a second wall face opposite to each other along a thickness direction of the insulation spacer. A first hole that penetrates the first wall face and the second wall face is created on the insulation spacer. A direction from the first wall face to the second wall face is a first direction. The first hole is configured to be passed through by the first tab along the first direction and enable the first tab to bend to closely fit the second wall face.

摘要: A battery includes an electrode assembly. The electrode assembly has a population of unit cells, each unit cell including an electrode current collector layer, an electrode layer, a separator layer, a counter-electrode layer, and a counter-electrode current collector layer in stacked succession. The electrode layer has an electrode active material, and the counter-electrode layer has a counter-electrode active material. One of the electrode active material and the counter-electrode material is a cathodically active material and the other of the electrode active material and the counter-electrode material is an anodically active material. A subset of the unit cell population includes a pair of spacer members located between the electrode current collector layer and the counter-electrode current collector layer. At least a portion of the counter-electrode active material is located between the spacer members in a common plane defined by the x and z axes.

摘要: A separator, a method of manufacturing the same, and a lithium secondary battery including the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a separator includes a non-crosslinked polyolefin layer; and a crosslinked polyolefin layer disposed on one surface of the non-crosslinked polyolefin layer and having at least one crosslinking bond represented by the following Chemical Formula 1, wherein the separator is configured such that the non-crosslinked polyolefin layer of the separator faces a positive electrode. In some embodiments, a lithium secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode and the separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The lithium secondary battery has a high melt-down temperature and shows high oxidation stability under high-voltage/high-temperature environment.

摘要: Provided herein is a lithium battery including: a cathode including a cathode active material; an anode including an anode active material; an electrolyte between the cathode and the anode; and a separator impregnated with the electrolyte, wherein the separator includes carboxyl group-containing microbial cellulose nanofibers, and wherein a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) thermogram of the separator evinces an exothermic reaction peak, represented by a differential value (dH/dT), at a temperature in a range of about 150° C. to about 200° C.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an electrode stack for a lithium secondary battery, in which one or more positive electrodes and one or more negative electrodes are alternatingly stacked with a separator therebetween and insulation layers are formed on the outermost positive electrodes of the electrode stack. The insulation layers have an average thickness of 1 μm to 8 μm. The positive electrodes include a positive electrode collector; a positive electrode active material layer; and a protective layer including an inorganic compound. The protective layer is disposed between the positive electrode collector and the positive electrode active material layer. Additionally, an electrode assembly and a lithium secondary battery which include the electrode stack are also disclosed.
