摘要： This invention provides a mobile terminal and a network searching method for overcoming crystal aging issue. The method includes the step of: searching network by invoking parameters stored in a first area of a volatile RAM; if the searching is failed, searching network by invoking parameters stored in a second area of the volatile RAM; if the searching is failed and the number of network searches is larger than a first predetermined value, reacquiring parameters and searching network; if the searching is succeeded, updating the parameters in the first area with the reacquired parameters. By this method, the invention can effectively solve the problems caused by crystal aging or defective crystals, and increases the robustness of the network searching.

The teachings thereof may be embodied in a device having an adjustable capacitance value for tuning a first oscillatory system, connectable to a second oscillatory system having an unknown and weak coupling factor. The device may include: a first capacitor having a capacitance dependent upon a voltage; and a DC voltage source having a variable voltage applied to associated terminals; a series-connected arrangement of the DC voltage source and a decoupling element connected in parallel with terminals of the capacitor, to apply a variable bias voltage to the first capacitor. The voltage applied to the terminals of the DC voltage source may depend at least in part on a working frequency of the first oscillatory system.

摘要： A system, apparatus and/or method provides frequency response adjustment of an RF input filter of an RF tuner based on impedance of an antenna system that is providing reception of RF signals to the RF tuner. The frequency response adjustment is preferably accomplished dynamically and/or with respect to each frequency tuned. Particularly, the system, method and/or apparatus provides compensation at the RF tuner level for mistuning effects produced on the RF tuner by antenna system impedance presented at the antenna input that is other than a designed for impedance. Frequency response of an RF input filter for the RF tuner is electronically adjustable with an independent or semi-independent control voltage signal based on one or more measured parameters of a tuning frequency. Frequency response adjustment may include adjustment of a center frequency of the RF input filter bandpass frequency range and/or altering the bandpass frequency range of the RF input filter. The subject invention expands the capability of an RF signal receiver, particularly one using at least one electronically adjustable RF filter at the input of an electronic alignment type tuner.
