Abstract: A display panel including a plurality of pixel units, a plurality of source lines, a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of common electrode lines is provided. The pixels units are arranged in array. The array includes a plurality of columns and a plurality of rows. The source lines are respectively coupled with the pixel units disposed in a same column of the columns. The gate lines are respectively coupled with the pixel units disposed in a same row of the rows. The common electrode lines and gate lines extend parallelly with each other. At least one of the source date lines, the gate lines and the common electrode lines has the line widths varied along the extension direction thereof.

Abstract: A readout circuit of a touch panel is provided. The readout circuit includes a charge modulator and a correlated double sampling demodulator. The charge modulator is configured to provide a driving current to charge or discharge a sensing electrode of the touch panel and generate a sensing voltage signal. The correlated double sampling demodulator is coupled to the charge modulator. The correlated double sampling demodulator is configured to sample the sensing voltage signal to obtain a voltage variation when a touch event happens. A method for driving the touch panel is also provided.

Abstract: A display device, a control circuit and associated control method are provided. The display device includes the control circuit and a display panel. The control circuit receives a plurality of source frames with a source frame rate. The control circuit generates a plurality of data signals and a plurality of gate signals based on the plurality of source frames. The display panel is electrically connected to the control circuit. The display panel displays the plurality of output frames according to the plurality of data signals and the plurality of gate signal. The plurality of output frames are displayed with one of a first refresh frame rate and a second refresh frame rate. The source frame rate is equivalent to the first refresh frame rate, and the source frame rate is greater than the second refresh frame rate.

Abstract: A clock and data recovery circuit with jitter tolerance enhancement is provided. The CDR circuit includes: a bang-bang phase detector, a digital filter, a digitally controlled oscillator, and an adaptive loop gain control circuit. The CDR circuit detects a loop bandwidth variation and adjusts the loop bandwidth of CDR circuit by adjusting proportional path and integral path gain factors of the digital filter of the CDR circuit. The loop gain controller uses two methods to adjust the loop gain in CDR circuit: bang-bang adjusting method and linear adjusting method.

Abstract: An amplifier circuit including an input amplifier, an output amplifier and a diode device is provided. The output amplifier is coupled to the input amplifier and outputting an output voltage. The diode device is coupled between an output end and an input end of the output amplifier. When a voltage difference between the output end and the input end of the output amplifier is greater than a barrier voltage of the diode device, the diode device is turned on, and an overshoot of the output voltage is reduced. The diode device includes a variable resistor to increase the barrier voltage of the diode device.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for sensing a display panel are provided. The apparatus includes a source driving circuit and a sensing circuit. The source driving circuit is coupled to data lines to drive the pixel circuits according to a scan-line period for scanning one of the scan lines. The sensing circuit is coupled to a plurality of pixel circuits. The sensing circuit senses characteristics of the pixel circuits according to the scan-line period for scanning one of the scan lines, wherein the scan-line period comprises a display data period and a test data period. In the test data period, a corresponding pixel circuit receives test data, and the sensing circuit senses the electrical characteristic of the corresponding pixel circuit. In the display data period, the corresponding pixel circuit receives display data from a corresponding data line, and the sensing circuit does not sense the corresponding pixel circuit.

Abstract: A monitor control system capable of reprogramming the function of a LCD monitor. The monitor control system utilizes VGA signal lines for video signal transmission during normal mode of operation and the same VGA signal lines for transmitting erase/record commands and data when the erasable programmable ROM inside the monitor demands reprogramming. Using an isolator circuit in the monitor control system for isolating an erase/record pathway of an erasable programmable ROM from a normal video pathway, data within the erasable programmable ROM can be modified without opening up the monitor casing. Hence, the modification of monitor function is much more convenient.
