Abstract: A thin film coating with inorganic/organic composite materials for application on a porous separator of a rechargeable metal battery cell is disclosed. The composite material, which is comprised of ion conductive ceramic particles mixed with, or embedded within a matrix of, at least one polymer comprising at least one anionic functional group and at least one metallic cation. The composite coating layer enhances the overall electrochemical performance of rechargeable metal batteries by preventing the formation of metal dendrites on the metallic anode of a metal battery cell.

Abstract: Disclosed is an olefin production method including: pretreating a catalyst by providing reduction gas to an alumina type catalyst to produce olefin from the hydrocarbon including not less than 90 wt % of LPG (Stage 1); producing the olefin by providing the catalyst pretreated at Stage 1 into Riser of Fast Fluidization Regime to dehydrogenate the hydrocarbon (Stage 2); separating the mixture of the produced propylene and the catalyst used at Stage 2, and regenerating the separated catalyst (Stage 3); and recycling the catalyst regenerated at Stage 3 to the process of Stage 1 (Stage 4).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a biodegradable polymer microsphere-containing sustained-release injection containing escitalopram as an active ingredient, and to a method for manufacturing the same. In the case of escitalopram microspheres, there is a problem of low encapsulation rate, fracture due to weak strength, and initial over-release due to the phase separation of the liquid drug and the polymer inside the microspheres. In order to solve the problem, it is possible to maximize the encapsulation amount and the encapsulation efficiency of the escitalopram adding a hydrophobic solidifying agent to uniformize the non-uniform phase, to overcome the cracking of the microspheres at high loading conditions, and to properly control the initial release and release delay of the microspheres.

Abstract: A photonic crystal structure employs such a structure that two layers having different refractive indices are laminated alternately, a polymer including a structure unit derived from a monomer that contains a fluorocarbon group being used for one of the repeated layers such that the photonic crystal structure can respond to humidity and/or organic solvent concentration. Using the photonic crystal structure, it is possible to manufacture a color-conversion photonic crystal sensor having excellent sensitivity and reproduction characteristics.

Abstract: A polybutylene succinate (PBS) nanocomposite material includes a matrix comprising polybutylene succinate chains, and nanocelluloses dispersed between the polybutylene succinate chains. The PBS composite material may be produced by polymerizing 1,4-butanediol and succinic acid or a derivative thereof in a mixture of 1,4-butanediol and succinic acid or a derivative thereof with nanocelluloses. The PBS nanocomposite material and the method have improved properties, which does not require a surface hydrophobization pretreatment process of cellulose, melt kneading, and solution mixing processes.
