Abstract:
An apparatus for stopping the transverse swing and skew motions of a hoisted cargo according to the present invention comprises a pair of movable frames (15) which are disposed on a transversely moving trolley (1) along left and right sides of the trolley (1) and which are movable with respect to the trolley (1) in a direction of movement of the trolley, two sets of guide sheaves (13, 14) for hoisting ropes fixedly arranged on each of said pair of movable frames (15) with a certain distance between the sets, and a pair of drive means (17) disposed on said trolley (1) for moving said pair of moving frames (15) independently with respect to said trolley (15), wherein the swing or skew motion, or a combination of these motions, of the cargo hoisted by the trolley (1) is reduced by the operation of the movable frames (15) (guide sheaves) disposed the opposite sides of the trolley (1). The apparatus can be made simpler, the control becomes easier and the arrangement of the apparatus enjoys a larger degree of freedom.
Abstract:
In a structure for attaching a heat sink to a semiconductor device in which a frame is encapsulated in a resin mold, a pin is formed integrally with the semiconductor device, and a hole engageable with the pin is formed integrally with the heat sink.
Abstract:
A pipe joint for joining two pipes end to end comprises a hollow cylindrical spigot portion having an annular projection on the outer periphery of a base end thereof, a hollow cylindrical socket portion having an inside diameter approximately equal to the outside diameter of the spigot portion and formed with two opposed apertures in its peripheral wall close to a forward end thereof and with a stepped part on the inner surface of the peripheral wall for the projection to come into contact with, the stepped part being closer to a base end of the socket portion than the apertures, and a stopper having a pair of circular-arc resilient legs fittable into the respective apertures from outside to project inward and each having a slanting inner surface, the legs being opposed to each other for the inwardly curved surfaces thereof to face each other. The projection is fixedly held between the stepped part and the legs by inserting the stopper into the apertures with the slanting surfaces facing toward the insertion side of the spigot portion and inserting the spigot portion into the socket portion until the projection moves past the legs. The spigot and socket portions are provided at the joint ends of the two respective pipes to be joined.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an alkaline dry cell which has a negative electrode comprising zinc alloy powders free of mercury as a negative electrode active material and provided in the center portion of the cell, a positive electrode provided around the outer surface of the negative electrode with a separator provided therebetween and a current collector comprising copper or a copper alloy and inserted in the negative electrode and which is inhibited from generation of hydrogen gas and from leakage of liquid. This alkaline dry cell is characterized in that the surface of the current collector is plated with a metal of high hydrogen overvoltage such as tin, lead, copper, zinc or an alloy of two or more of these metals.
Abstract:
An erectable container having a polygonal bottom plate is formed in the center of a foldable board member and side plates which are integrally provided extending from each edge of the bottom plate, at least one of the side plates being made in a pentagonal form. The pentagonal side plate is provided with two fold lines connecting between the vertexes at each end of the edge corresponding to the bottom plate and the vertex which is not adjacent thereto. An adhesive tab is provided on either one of each pair of lateral edges of the side plates which are adjacent to each other when the sides of the bottom plate are folded, so that, when each of the side plates is erected, the adhesive tab may join the side plates.
Abstract:
A communication control apparatus control establishment of sessions for transmitting content data between communication terminals in a communication system having relay management apparatuses for relaying the content data transmitted from the communication terminals, includes a route setter configured to select one or more relay management apparatuses to set a route for transmitting the content data, based on delay information for each of the sessions, a selector to select, from the selected relay management apparatuses, a relay management apparatus to synthesize the content data to transmit the synthesized content data to the communication terminals that join the session, and a transmitter to transmit selection information indicating the selected relay management apparatus to, among the communication terminals that join the established session, at least one communication terminal coupled to a relay management apparatus differing from the selected relay management apparatus.
Abstract:
The present invention aims to provides a method of manufacturing a film for a semiconductor device in which a dicing film, a die bond film, and a protecting film are laminated in this order, including the steps of: irradiating the die bond film with a light ray having a wavelength of 400 to 800 nm to detect the position of the die bond film based on the obtained light transmittance and punching the dicing film out based on the detected position of the die bond film, and in which T2/T1 is 0.04 or more, wherein T1 is the light transmittance of the portion where the dicing film and the protecting film are laminated and T2 is the light transmittance of the portion where the dicing film, the die bond film, and the protecting film are laminated.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an electronic document rasterizing method and an electronic document rasterizing device. The method comprises a thumbnail image rasterizing step of calculating an initial resolution for rasterizing a thumbnail image of the electronic document page, and then carrying out rasterization with regard to the thumbnail image of the electronic document page; an electronic document page dividing step of dividing, based on a designated resolution and the size of a display area, the electronic document page into plural regional segments; a region-of-interest determining step of determining, in response of designation of a position of interest, a current region of interest in the plural regional segments; and a region-of-interest rasterizing step of determining at least one document segment belonging to the current region of interest, and then rasterizing the current region of interest by rasterizing the document segment belonging to the current region of interest based on the designated resolution.
Abstract:
The battery pack charger has a case 1 having an attachment section 2 where the battery pack 30 is attached in a detachable manner, and a plurality of connecting terminals 3 disposed in an exposed manner in the attachment section 2 to connect with external terminals 33 on the battery pack 30. The connecting terminals 3 are disposed in approximately vertical orientation in a plurality of approximately parallel rows. The case 1 has terminal through-holes 52 opened through the case 1 between adjacent connecting terminals 3. Even if there is ingress of foreign material such as dust and dirt between the connecting terminals, that material can fall through the holes in the case. Foreign material collection between the connecting terminals can be avoided, and the battery pack charger has the positive feature that unintended conduction such as leakage current and short-circuit can be avoided.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a structure of a nano-scale substance may include irradiating a mixture of low-dimensional quantum structures having a nano-scale with an electromagnetic wave in an oxygen atmosphere, to thereby selectively oxidize a low-dimensional quantum structure having a density of states resonating with the electromagnetic wave used for the irradiation. The method allows a low-dimensional quantum structure having a specific structure to be selectively removed from the mixture of low-dimensional quantum structures having a nano-scale.
