Abstract:
Provided is a transmitter and a receiver for a high-throughput wireless communication system. The transmitter includes a baseband transmitter, a DIF transmitter, and a RF transmitter. The baseband transmitter performs a MAC protocol process on transmission signals and reception signals and processes the transmission signals by dividing an entire transmission band into n bands in a physical layer process of the transmission data, where n is a natural number. The DIF transmitter combines transmission signals of each band from the baseband transmitter and outputs m channel signals corresponding to a number of transmission antennas, where m is a natural number. The RF transmitter modulates each of the channel signals transferred from the DIF transmitter and transmits the modulated signals through m antennas.
Abstract:
Provided are a transmitter and a method for transmitting a data block in a wireless communication system. The method comprises the following steps: encoding an information bit and generating a block coded with an NCBPSS bit; generating two sub-blocks by parsing the coded block; and transmitting the two sub-blocks to the transmitter. By preventing the bits that are contiguous to the encoding block from having continuous identical reliabilities on a signal constellation, the deterioration of the decoding performance of the transmitter can be prevented.

The MAC method includes: transmitting a bandwidth scheduling report frame for informing information on downlinks and uplinks allocated to a terminal by including the bandwidth scheduling report frame in one of the downlinks where the bandwidth scheduling report frame includes a plurality of downlinks, a plurality of uplinks, and a plurality of short uplinks and the number of the plurality of downlinks is equal to the number of the plurality of uplinks; receiving a bandwidth request frame for requesting bandwidth allocation through one of the uplinks; and allocating a bandwidth to each of the terminals by an unit of the downlink and the uplink.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting a frame to at least one receiver in a wireless communication system is provided. The apparatus determines at least one data length in accordance with each receiver based on a number of symbol for the frame to be transmitted, determines a maximum data length among the at least one data length, and determines a length of the frame in time domain based on the maximum data length. The apparatus generates the frame in accordance with the length of the frame, the frame including a first signal field and at least one second signal field. The first signal field indicates the length of the frame and each second signal field indicates each data length.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of accessing a channel in a wireless local area network is provided. A destination station receives a request to send (RTS) frame to allocate a network allocation vector from a source station over a first bandwidth and transmits a clear to send (CTS) frame over a second bandwidth to the source station in response to the RTS frame. The second bandwidth is dynamically determined when a first parameter has a predetermined value.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transceiving data. A method in which a transmitting terminal transmits data to a receiving terminal in a MIMO system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: generating a data field containing the data; generating a signal field containing information on the data field; generating a data frame containing the data field and the signal field; and transmitting the data frame to the receiving terminal. According to the present invention, an end of the frame being transmitted is accurately notified to the receiving terminal in a communication system in which the frame is transmitted using MIMO, thereby decoding the frame in a more efficient manner at the receiving terminal.
