摘要: A transportation vehicle measures its own absolute position, and transmits the measured absolute position to a ground controller. The ground controller keeps track of positions of a plurality of transportation vehicles in real time, and sends running instructions to travel, while avoiding interference between the transportation vehicles. As a result, the ground controller can control travel of the transportation vehicles in real time.

摘要: When the tilt of an optical disk is detected using a light source of an optical head, the optical head cannot be simplified enough and an optical-disk tilt cannot be detected adequately. The optical head includes: an LED chip; a light-converging element that converges the light which is emitted from the LED chip upon an optical disk; a light-converging element driving means which drives the light-converging element; and a sensor which detects a tilt or a positional shift of the optical disk. In the sensor, the LED chip is placed on a semiconductor substrate which is provided with a plurality of light-receiving chips; the light emitted from the LED chip irradiates the optical disk; the light which is reflected from the optical disk is received by the plurality of light-receiving chips; and based upon the quantity of light which is received at the plurality of light-receiving chips, a tilt or a positional shift of the optical disk is detected.

摘要: An optical head comprises a photodetector 8 having divided photosensitive areas to detect light 13 reflected from an optical disk 7, means 10, 11, 12 for obtaining tracking error signal by operating signals from the photosensitive areas. The photodetector 8 has a first division line 9a parallel to an information track on the optical disk and second and third division lines 9b, 9c perpendicular to the first division line 9f and symmetrical to the optical axis. Further, a light-shielding area 8i is provided for shielding a part of the reflected light between the division lines 9b and 9c. The signals are operated to reduce offset of the tracking error signal due to a shift of object lens and a tilt of the optical disk. Accordingly, the optical head of the present invention has a small offset of tracking error signal with a simple structure.

摘要: A silver sol comprises silver particles having a particle size ranging from 1 to 100 nm and a silver solid content ranging from 1 to 80% by weight. The silver sol can be prepared by a method comprising the steps of reacting a solution of a silver compound with a reducing agent at a temperature ranging from 5 to 50.degree. C. and a stirring speed falling within the range of from 1,000 to 10,000 rpm to form silver fine particles; recovering the resulting silver fine particles using a centrifugal separator; and then dispersing the silver fine particles in a medium to give a silver sol having a silver solid content ranging from 1 to 80% by weight. The silver sol or a coating material obtained by diluting the sol to a desired silver solid content and, if desired, adding a binder permits the formation of a transparent conductive film on, for instance, a cathode-ray tube while reducing the production cost. The resulting transparent conductive film has high transparency suitably used for coating a cathode-ray tube, excellent conductivity, in particular, good electromagnetic shielding properties and a surface resistance of not more than 10.sup.3 .OMEGA./.quadrature..

摘要: Composite conductive powder comprises a calcined mixture of conductive powder mainly comprising indium oxide which contains at least one member selected from the group consisting of tin oxide, titanium oxide and zirconium oxide as a dopant and conductive powder mainly comprising tin oxide which contains at least one member selected from the group consisting of antimony oxide, tantalum oxide and niobium oxide as a dopant, and a conductive film is formed from the composite, conductive powder. The composite, conductive powder and the conductive film produced from the powder permit the reduction in the amounts of materials for the ITO film, in particular, indium which is an expensive material and the composite, conductive powder can simultaneously satisfy both requirements for high transparency and high conductivity even if it is used for the formation of films through the coating technique.

摘要: A lens drive mechanism for an optical disc player includes a movable unit including an objective lens for focusing a coherent beam of light on an optical disc, a lens holder carrying the objective lens, focusing and tracking coils secured to opposite portions of a periphery of the lens holder. The lens drive mechanism also includes permanent magnets and yokes, and a plurality of support members connected at one end to the periphery of the lens holder and at the opposite end to a support fixture for supporting the movable unit for movement in focusing and tracking directions substantially perpendicular to each other. A upper set of the support members has a spring constant different from that of a lower set of the support members, and the product of the spring constant of the upper set of the support members multiplied by a distance from the center of gravity of the movable unit to a position of securement of the upper set of the support members is chosen to be equal to the product of the spring constant of the lower set of the support members multiplied by a distance from the center of gravity of the movable unit to a position of securement of the lower set of the support members.

摘要: The relative tilt of an optical disk and a movable objective lens holder is measured as an output of a differential amplifier which subtracts an output of first photodetectors and which detect the reflected light from optical disk from an output of second photodetectors and which detect the reflected light from a reflector mounted on movable objective lens holder. The signal from differential amplifier is used to tilt movable objective lens holder so that the movable objective lens holder compensates the tilt of optical disk.
