摘要： A musical tone control mechanism for an electronic musical instrument in which a musical tone adjustment rotary body having a rotating shaft extending along the longitudinal direction of a keyboard is provided, the rotary body is divided into a plurality of parts, and an operation position of the rotary body is movable along the longitudinal direction of the keyboard, or a means for selecting an adjustment function of the rotary body is arranged. The musical tone control mechanism further includes an operation amount detector for detecting an operation amount of the rotary body as a pivot amount of a pivot shaft body of the operation amount detector, cylindrical intermediate members fitted to both ends of the rotary body for connecting the pivot shaft body to the rotary body, and bearings having bearing holes for pivotally receiving the intermediate members.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for preparing a hard transparent resin comprising polymerizing a monomer (A) having both a functional group of the following formula (I): ##STR1## wherein X is selected from the group consisting of an oxygen atom and a sulfur atom,and a functional group selected from the group consisting of a functional group of the formula (II):CH.sub.2 CR--COO-- (II)wherein R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and methyl group,and a functional group of the formula (III): ##STR2## The invention also provides a process for preparing a transparent resin comprising copolymerizing monomer (A) with a monomer (B) having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting ofCH.sub.2 CH.dbd.COO--,CH.sub.2 .dbd.C(CH.sub.3)--COO--, and ##STR3## This resin can be suitably used as a glazing material, and in the manufacture of optical lenses, optical information recording medium substrates, etc. It has a crosslinked structure, high surface hardness, and may be easily polymerized.

摘要： The present invention relates to a high surface hardness transparent resin having excellent scratch resistance, heat resistance and chemical resistance, a glazing material, a protective cover for display devices, an optical lens and a hard coat material comprising the aforesaid resin, and a novel polymerizable monomer which is useful as a raw material of the above-mentioned resin.The monomer is represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## (wherein R is an aliphatic residue having or not having an halogen atom, an oxygen atom, an alicyclic ring, a heterocyclic ring or an aromatic ring, an alicyclic residue, or a heterocyclic residue, n is an integer of 1 to 4, when n=1, X is oxygen or sulfur, when n.gtoreq.2, X's are all oxygen or all sulfur, one X is oxygen while the other X or X's are sulfur, one X is sulfur while the other X or X's are oxygen, or two X's are oxygen while the other X's are sulfur).The aforesaid high surface hardness transparent resin comprises a crosslinked polymer prepared by copolymerizing a monomer (A) represented by the formula (I) and a monomer (B) having, in one molecule, m functional groups of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of CH.sub.2 .dbd.CH--C(O)--O--, CH.sub.2 .dbd.C(CH.sub.3)--C(O)--O-- and ##STR2## where (n+m) is an integer of 3 or more.

摘要： A composition for external application comprising a tricyclic saturated hydrocarbon represented by formula (I) is disclosed. ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be the same or different and independently represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group having 2-3 carbon atoms. The compositions for external application of the present invention exhibit an excellent moisture-retention effect and impart moistened feel without sliminess and irritation to the skin. They are thus useful as skin cosmetics, hair cosmetics, medical compositions for external application, and the like.

摘要： A novel acidic heteropolysaccharide which comprises as its structural units arabinose, mannose, galactose, glucuronic acid, and xylose, at a specific ratio. The polysaccharide can be prepared by culturing a callus induced from a plant belonging to the genus Polianthes L. in a culture medium containing plant hormones. The polysaccharide can be used as a component of agents for external application and detergents, and provides good moisturizing effects and a smooth, satisfying feeling upon use. When formulated in detergents, they produce remarkable improvement in a clean, rich feeling upon use.

They can provide a high, long-lasting moisturizing effect, and at the same time preserve the moisturizing function of the skin or hair after a lapse of time or even after the portion to which it was applied has been washed. These effects are further promoted by formulating to the cosmetics a specific type hydrophilic humectant.

摘要： A cosmetic emulsion of low viscosity which comprises (a) 0.2 to 5 wt % of an emusifier, (b) 0.5 to 10 wt % of an oil and (3) 85 to 99.3 wt % of a water phase. The emusifier (a) consists essentially of a dimethylpolysiloxane-polyalkylene copolymer, a surface active agent having an HLB value not smaller than 10, and a linear, saturated higher alcohol having from 12 to 22 carbon atoms. The relative ratios of the dimethylpolysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene copolymer, the surface active agent and the higher alcohol lie within the polygon bounded by the points of a ternary composition diagram of the annexed figure.When the emulsion is applied to the skin, it gives refreshing feeling to the skin without any stickiness. It also gives appropriate moisture retentivity to the skin.
