    摘要: A DC block with a band-notch characteristic using a defected ground structure (DGS), includes a pair of coupled lines for being formed parallel to each other on one surface of a dielectric and blocking a flow of a DC, and at least one DGS for being formed on an area of the rear surface of the dielectric corresponding to each coupled line and comprising an etched region formed by etching a part of a ground surface bonded to the dielectric and a metal region formed in the etched region. Accordingly, the stop band of the desired bandwidth in the desired communications band can be formed and the size of the communications system can be reduced.

The radiator has a metal layer. The active circuit includes a pair of parallel coupled lines arranged on a first side of the radiator.     摘要: Provided is an apparatus and a method of measuring a distance between devices using a low clock frequency signal. The apparatus includes clock frequency generators, counters, a controller and a calculator for determining the distance based on clock signal overlap. Radio waves are transmitted and a number of clocks of a clock signal having a clock frequency b are counted, and if the transmitted radio waves are received again, a number of clocks of a clock signal having a clock frequency a are counted. If the clock signals having the clock frequencies a and b overlap with each other, counting of the numbers of the clocks of the clock signals having the frequencies b and a stops, and the distance is measured using the count values of the clock signals having the clock frequencies a and b. As a result, number of clocks of clock signals having low clock frequencies with a uniform difference can be counted to precisely measure a distance.

    摘要: A parallel coupled line filter is miniaturized by using lumped capacitors and grounding the capacitors. The parallel coupled line filter includes a parallel coupled line, a first capacitor connected to one of two input ports of the parallel coupled line, and a second capacitor connected to one of two output ports of the parallel coupled line. The parallel coupled filter can be miniaturized to a desirable size, on the basis of relatively simple theoretical knowledge.
