A micro sample heating apparatus has a substrate, a micro heating device disposed on a first surface of the substrate, a cavity having a vertical sidewall and corresponding to the micro heating device positioned in a second surface of the substrate, and an isolation structure positioned on the second surface of the substrate. The isolation structure has an opening corresponding to the cavity, and the cavity and the opening form a sample room.
Abstract:
A low profile integrated module is fabricated to include sheets of material, such as ceramic or PCB, fixed together and including a via extending through at least one of the plurality of sheets from the lower module surface partially to the upper module surface and in a side module surface. The via is filled with conductive material. The module is then mounted on a supporting substrate having a solder pad on the mounting surface with an area greater than the lower surface of the via. The lower surface of the via is positioned adjacent the upper surface of the mounting pad and soldered so that solder wicks up the via along the side module surface.
Abstract:
A method for backing up a TCP connection includes a data transmission process and a data receiving process. The data transmission process includes obtaining, by an AMB of a transmitting end, boundary information of data; and backing up the data and the boundary information of the data to a SMB of the transmitting end. The data receiving process includes backing up, by the SMB, data received from a peer side of the TCP connection and the boundary information of the data received by the peer side to the AMB; and deleting the data received by the peer side from the data backed up by the SMB during the transmission process according to the boundary information of the data received by the peer side. The disclosure also provides an apparatus for backing up a TCP connection.

A method of manufacturing a suspension structure including providing a substrate, forming a hole and a sacrificial layer filling the hole on the substrate, forming a patterned photoresist layer on the substrate and the sacrificial layer, the patterned photoresist layer exposing a part of the substrate and the sacrificial layer, forming a structure layer on the substrate, the patterned photoresist layer, and the sacrificial layer, performing a lift off process to remove the patterned photoresist layer and the structure layer above the photoresist pattern, and performing a dry etch process to remove the sacrificial layer in order to make the structure layer and the hole become the suspension structure and the chamber.

A method of forming a suspended structure is disclosed. Initially, a substrate is provided. A patterned first sacrificial layer and a patterned second sacrificial layer are formed on a front surface of the substrate. The second sacrificial layer has an opening exposing a part of the substrate and a part of the first sacrificial layer. A structural layer is formed covering the abovementioned sacrificial layers. Thereafter, a lift-off process is performed to remove the second sacrificial layer and define the pattern of the structural layer. A first etching process is performed on a back surface of the substrate utilizing the first sacrificial layer as an etching barrier and a through hole is formed under the first sacrificial layer. A second etching layer is performed to remove the first sacrificial layer and a suspended structure is thereby formed.

A superalloy micro-heating apparatus includes a substrate, an isolation layer on a front surface of the substrate, a patterned heating resistor, and a contact electrode on the heating resistor. The material of the heating resistor includes superalloy material that has the advantages of corrosion-resistance, high-resistance, rapid-thermal increase, and high-temperature resistance. For these reasons, the superalloy micro-heating resistor has an improved reliability and yield.

A method for automatically switching a profile of a mobile phone includes measuring a current environmental noise value of ambient noise surrounding the mobile phone. The current environmental noise value is then compared to a predetermined noise value, and a noise difference is calculated. Next, the profile of the mobile phone is switched based on the value of the noise difference.

The Hi-SD CBS includes a termination unit and pluralities of distributed customer premise units connected through the cable TV (CATV) network. The radio signals in Hi-SD CBS are propagating inside the co-axial cable. To insure the linking quality between the termination unit and customer premise devices, preamble procedures are required to adjust the transmitting radio power, the receiver sensitivity, the channel equalization, and to synchronize the transceivers for data transmission between the termination unit and the customer premise devices. To guarantee a secure link between the termination unit and an individual customer premise device or a group of premise devices, the termination unit provides different encryption keys to different customer premise device groups.
