Abstract: The present disclosure provides an actuation device that comprises: (a) a device body that comprises a first fixation mechanism configured to affix a proximal end of a first elongate member of an accessory device to the device body, (b) an actuator that comprises an operable mechanism and a second fixation mechanism configured to affix a proximal end of a second elongate member of the accessory device to the actuator, wherein the operable mechanism is configured to move the second elongate member relative to the first elongate member, and (c) a fastener configured to attach the device body to an endoscope. The present disclosure further provides endoscopic systems comprising an actuation device of this type in an assembly with an endoscope and an accessory device, and also provides kits that comprise an actuation device of this type and one or more accessory devices.

Abstract: A system for treating tissue includes a capsule including a channel extending therethrough; first and second clip arms each extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the proximal ends being received within the channel of a capsule to be moved between an open tissue receiving configuration; and a closed tissue clipping configuration. The first clip arm includes a first tissue retention feature at a distal portion thereof configured to pierce through a target tissue when in the tissue clipping configuration and subsequently release the target tissue when the clip arms are moved to an at least partially open configuration. The second clip arm includes a second tissue retention feature at a distal portion thereof configured to pierce and retain the target tissue thereon when in both the closed tissue clipping configuration and the open tissue receiving configuration.

Abstract: A system for implantation of a stent in a body lumen may include an elongate tubular member having a lumen extending therein, a stent configured to shift from a delivery configuration to a deployed configuration, and an adhesive structure configured to secure the stent to the body lumen in the deployed configuration. The stent may be disposed within the lumen of the elongate tubular member in the delivery configuration. The adhesive structure may be disposed within the lumen of the elongate tubular member adjacent the stent in a substantially inert state. The adhesive structure may be configured to adhere to the stent and the body lumen after the stent and the adhesive structure are deployed into the body lumen from the lumen of the elongate tubular member.

Abstract: A system for treating tissue includes an applicator having a bushing and a control member and a clip assembly having a capsule with a channel extending therethrough. The channel includes proximal and distal portions. The distal portion extends distally from the proximal portion and flaring outward in a single plane to form opposing flared sections. The assembly also includes clip arms include proximal ends slidably received within the channel to move the arms between tissue receiving and tissue clipping configurations. The assembly further includes a yoke including a distal portion connected to the arms and a proximal portion configured to be connected to the member so that longitudinal movement of the member relative to the capsule moves the arms between the tissue receiving and clipping configurations. The yoke is positioned in the capsule so that the yoke is deformable in the plane in which the capsule flares outward.

In addition, Device includes a second arm, a proximal end of which is slidably received within the capsule so that the second arm is movable between an open configuration, in which the second arm is moved laterally away from the first arm and a distal end of the second arm is moved distally past the distal end of the first arm, and a closed configuration, in which the second arm is moved toward the first arm and the distal end of the second arm is moved proximally toward the distal end of the first arm.
