Abstract:
Described here are flush valves for delivering a selected amount of water from a toilet tank into a toilet bowl, particularly collapsible flush valves having substantial durability and resistance to wear and deleterious chemicals. These flush valves have a collapsible member extending from above the surface of the water in the toilet tank to the tank outlet in the normal (closed flush valve) state. Collapsing the flush valve allows water to flow into the toilet bowl through the flush valve until the toilet tank is drained to the level of the collapsed flush valve and buoyancy is restored. Flush valves may be made of a material that does not substantially deteriorate in the presence of halogen-containing toilet disinfectants, and the outer surface (the water contacting surface) of the flush valves may be a single continuous piece.
Abstract:
Anti-TNF antibodies, fragments and regions thereof which are specific for human tumor necrosis factor-α (TNFα) and are useful in vivo diagnosis and therapy of a number of TNFα-mediated pathologies and conditions, as well as polynucleotides coding for murine and chimeric antibodies, methods of producing the antibody, methods of use of the anti-TNF antibody, or fragment, region or derivative thereof, in immunoassays and immunotherapeutic approaches are provided.
Abstract:
A pastry bag construction 10 comprising a generally elongated pastry bag member 20 fabricated from a generally flexible material 21 and having an upper end provided with an enlarged opening 23 and a lower end provided with a relatively small outlet opening 22 wherein the exterior periphery of the bag member 20 is provided with a plurality of finger engaging loop units 12 which include an elongated horizontally disposed strap member 30 and a plurality of relatively short vertically disposed strap members 40 wherein the strap members 30 and 40 define loop openings 32 and 41 which are dimensioned to receive the fingers of the users hands for manipulating the bag member 20.
Abstract:
Treatment of tumor necrosis factor, TNF, mediated pathologies is provided by administering anti-TNF compounds, such as anti-TNF antibodies and anti-TNF peptides, which compounds are specific for tumor necrosis factor-.alpha. (TNF.alpha.) or tumor necrosis factor-.beta. (TNF.beta.) and which are useful for in vivo therapy or diagnosis of TNF.alpha.-mediated pathologies and conditions, wherein the anti-TNF compound is selected from the group consisting of at least one of an immunoglobulin variable region, a fragment of a TNF receptor and an anti-TNF peptide, such as a structural analog of a anti-TNF antibody fragment or a TNF receptor fragment.
Abstract:
A protective cover for a contact surface of a stethoscope having a planar section of film material with a static charge placed therein. The planar section of film material has a top surface and a bottom surface. The section of film material has an area greater than the contact surface of the stethoscope. The top and bottom surfaces are non-adhesive surfaces. The static charge acts on the bottom surface so as to allow the bottom surface to removably cling to the contact surface of the stethoscope. The planar section of film material is applied to a backing surface having an area greater no less than the area of the section of film material.
Abstract:
A prosthesis comprising:(a) a gripping member;(b) an operating lever mounted to pivot about a pivot axis and operatively connected to the gripping member;(c) a power unit including an electric motor, and a drive shaft rotatable by said electric motor;(d) means connecting the drive shaft to the operating lever at a region spaced from the said pivot axis of the operating lever, said connecting means being constructed so that when the drive shaft rotates the connecting means (and also the region of the operating lever connected to the shaft) travels axially along the shaft thereby causing the operating lever to pivot about its pivot axis; and(e) means pivotally mounting said power unit to allow the connecting means to move along an arcuate path about the pivot axis during pivoting of the operating lever.
Abstract:
A set of tools and other mechanisms automatically enforce software development change policies by providing a way to map physical source control system codelines to projects and by providing a way to maintain current project and codeline state information. The set of tools and other mechanisms also provide ways to define change management rules and policies, as well as, ways to evaluate and allow or deny each proposed change against the defined change policy.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, the methods and apparatuses display a list configured to represent a plurality of virtual rooms; identify a selected participant device associated with a selected virtual room from the plurality of virtual rooms wherein the selected participant device is a member of the selected virtual room; selectively display content associated with the selected virtual room to the selected participant device; and notify the selected participant device of a change to the content associated with the selected virtual room.

Malicious message detection and processing systems and methods are provided herein. According to some embodiments, the messages are emails and the method for processing emails may be facilitated by way of an intermediary node which may be cloud-based. The intermediary node may be communicatively couplable with an email client and an email server. The intermediary node may execute a method that includes analyzing a link included in an email to determine if the link is associated with a potentially malicious resource, and replacing the link with an alternate link to a trusted resource if the link is associated with a potentially malicious resource.
