摘要: The methods and apparatuses detect a plurality of pixels within a frame; separate a portion of the plurality of pixels into a lossless category based on inclusion of the portion of the plurality of pixels within a color list; and identify a particular pixel as an isolated pixel through a single point identification module wherein the particular pixel is within the portion of the plurality of pixels.

摘要: Methods for clustering of multi-dimensional data allow unsupervised grouping of multi-dimensional data points into clusters having like characteristics. The methods may be usefully applied to extracellular action potentials (neuronal spikes) measured from the brain, whereby spike data may be grouped in accordance with dimensions such as spike period, spike shape, etc., to assist in identification and location of individual neurons and/or regions of the brain.

摘要: A fuel deoxygenator includes a plurality of fuel plates defining fuel passages through a housing. A permeable membrane supported by a porous substrate is in contact with fuel flowing through the fuel passages. A vacuum in communication with the porous substrate creates a differential pressure between oxygen within the fuel and the porous membrane. The oxygen partial pressure differential causes oxygen dissolved within the fuel to migrate from the fuel through the permeable membrane away from the fuel. Fuel exiting the outlet includes a substantially reduced amount of dissolved oxygen.

摘要: An improved disc head for increased wear protection. The disc head includes wear members 74, 76, 92, 94, formed proximate to transducer elements of a thin film head. The wear members 74, 76, 92, 94 are formed along a portion of a lower surface of the head facing the disc surface and are formed of a relatively hard material for increasing wear resistance of the head, proximate to the transducer elements 70.
