摘要: A communications system connected via a bus capable of transmitting multiplexed packets of control signals and AV signals while providing an environment, which is the same as an environment where connections are made using analog signal lines. A register with a fixed address is taken to be a virtual plug for each of a plurality of equipment. When the plug enable for the input plug is set to 1, an isochronous communication packet for the AV signal on the channel set by the channel number is received. When the plug enable for the output plug is set to one and the isochronous communication packet for the information signal is sent on the channel, then the channel number is set in the channel number field at a transmission speed designated by the DR (Data Rate) field at the bandwidth presented in the bandwidth field.

摘要: When a connection mode change setting instruction input entered by a user is supplied to the control unit 20, the control unit 20 controls the IEEE 1394 I/F circuit to set the value of oPCR and iPCR of an electronic apparatus for forming a channel so that the channel between target electronic apparatus is formed in the connection mode instructed by the user. Thereby, a channel between electronic apparatus is formed flexibly and an information output apparatus that is capable of forming a convenient electronic apparatus network is provided. One electronic apparatus connected to the digital bus inquires of an electronic apparatus connected to the digital bus whether it is a monitor apparatus (first receiving apparatus) that receives the data mainly through a channel formed in the broadcast connection mode or not, and channels connected in the broadcast connection mode are allocated to monitor apparatus respectively. A receiving apparatus other than the monitor apparatus forms a channel of the PtoP mode avoiding the channel of the first connection mode allocated to the first receiving apparatus, and receives supply of the data. As the result, a transmission line using method, an information transmission system, and an electronic apparatus that are capable of utilizing a plurality of channels on the digital bus efficiently, and capable of providing the convenient digital content using environment are realized.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes (a) an openable and closable cover, (b) a fixing unit, and (c) a press-contact releasing member. The fixing unit has a first roller, a second roller that can be pressed in contact against the first roller, and a retaining member adapted to retain a state in which the press-contact of the second roller against the first roller has been released by the press-contact releasing member. The fixing unit is attachable/detachable to/from a body of the image forming apparatus. The fixing unit is adapted to fix a developer image, which is formed on a medium that is pinched between the first roller and the second roller being pressed in contact against the first roller via the medium, onto that medium in a state where the cover is closed. The press-contact releasing member is adapted to release the press-contact of the second roller against the first roller in conjunction with an opening movement of the cover.

摘要: A laser mark which will be the positioning mark for a secondary charged particle image in the charged particle beam apparatus is applied by moving the sample processing/observation area in the charged particle beam apparatus so as to come into the view field while performing an observation by an infrared microscope, and by a using a laser optical system disposed coaxially with an optical observation system, the mark made at the periphery of the processing/observation object area. Next, by a superposition of an infrared transmission image and a CAD data, the processing/observation object area and the laser mark are registered onto the CAD data. And, by a correlation of the registered data read from the charged particle beam apparatus and the secondary charged particle image, it is possible to accurately and easily determine the processing position.
