摘要： To provide a back light unit that reduces an uneven brightness and has a spatially uniform brightness distribution. According to an aspect of the present invention, the back light unit comprises an LED and a light guide plate for guiding light from the LED to a liquid crystal panel side, wherein a recess is provided on the back surface side of the light guide plate, wherein a plurality of LEDs are housed in the recess, and wherein a light amount limiting member is provided at a position facing the recess on s light exit surface side of the light guide plate. The light amount limiting member is configured, for example, by applying an ink with a predetermined optical property to a transparent sheet.

摘要： A lever-type connector includes a housing and a wire cover. Shafts are extended from the housing. A lever attached to the housing has a pair of parallel plates and a grip portion connecting the parallel plates. Each of the parallel plates is formed with a hole in which the shaft is inserted. A projection provided on the wire cover abuts one of the parallel plates in a state where the lever is attached to the housing so that the grip portion is disposed at a side of the lead-out port. A rotation preventing part is provided at one of the shafts and the hole of the one of the parallel plates and prevents a rotation of the lever in a state where the one of the parallel plates is deformed by the abutment of the projection.

摘要： A multi-unit connector is structured by mounting a plurality of unit connectors, in which a terminal is received in a terminal receiving section of a housing, into a connector frame. The housing includes a front opening, and the connector frame includes a wall covering the front opening. The wall has a hole for terminal insertion, and a positioning rib projectingly. The terminal is positioned without rattling by supporting the terminal between the positioning rib and an inner wall at a side opposite to the positioning rib of the terminal receiving section. The positioning rib is provided with a slant surface for supporting the terminal. Furthermore, an additional positioning rib is arranged symmetrically against the positioning rib about a center of the hole and the slant surfaces for supporting a top end of the terminal are formed facing to each other at the positioning rib and the additional positioning rib.

摘要： A vehicle number plate that allows a steering damper to be disposed without impairing the functions of the number plate, and is less susceptible to an effect of cross wind. The vehicle includes a front fork, which suspends a front wheel, disposed steerably on a head pipe on a vehicle body and a steering mechanism including a handlebar mounted on the front fork. The number plate is marked with a competition identification number and is disposed at a front portion of a fork bridge including a top bridge and a bottom bridge to connect left- and right-hand portions of the front fork. In the vehicle, the steering damper is disposed between the head pipe and the bottom bridge. The number plate includes a protruded portion that protrudes forwardly at a center thereof and narrows toward a lower portion, the lower portion covering an area forward of the steering damper.

摘要： A process is provided herein for producing a variety of reformed and cured herring roe mixed foods including "herring roe on kelp", "herring roe on shellfish" and "herring roe with kamaboko" by making the best use of the intrinsic binding ability of fresh herring eggs. In one embodiment, the process may begin by extracting ovaries from sexually-matured herring. Individual eggs are then singled out from the ovaries. The eggs are rinsed and cleaned. A perforate mold is then filled in single or multi-layers with any solid food or foods, e.g., kelp, fish, shell-fish, kamaboko, ham, sausage and/or cheese between the layers of eggs, to form a sandwich structure. The sandwich structure in the mold is then salt-cured, substantially to the saturation level. The salt-cured and solidified product is then removed from the mold.

摘要： An elastic polyester is continuously prepared by continuously supplying an aromatic polyester and a lactone compound into an extruder which has (A) a cylinder having a shape of 3.ltoreq.L/D.ltoreq.70 (where L represents the length of the cylinder and D represents the inner diameter of the cylinder) and (B) at least one screw and wherein (C) the occupancy ratio of the space in the inner volume of the cylinder in the screw-attached state is not larger than 70%, and reacting the aromatic polyester with the lactone compound while performing melting, delivery and kneading in the extruder, according to this process, the reaction time can be shortened, and an elastic polyester can be easily prepared at a high efficiency by simplified apparatus and operations. The obtained elastic polyester has an excellent durability represented by heat resistance and weatherability and has an excellent rubbery elasticity and mechanical properties. Accordingly, this elastic polyester can be widely used for the production of automobile parts, electric and electronic parts, machine parts and the like.

摘要： The present invention relates to a fluid processing apparatus particularly useful for processing fluid foods in a highly uniform, "non-statistical" manner at controlled temperatures and high shear rates. The apparatus comprises a first means including an essentially smooth and unencumbered concave cylindrical surface of constant radius; a second means including an essentially smooth and unencumbered convex cylindrical surface having a constant radius which is less than, but not more than about 2 mm less than, the constant radius of said first means; said first and second means being arranged in mutually concentric relation with one another and such that there is a uniform annular treatment zone consisting of the gap formed between said first and second means, said treatment zone being arranged in heat transfer relation with a source of heat transfer medium; and, a third means for providing relative rotary motion between said first and second means, about the common longitudinal axis of symmetry thereof.
