摘要: An image display apparatus is provided with a slim design and improved illumination efficiency and which is able to suppress degradation of contrast thereby eliminating ghosts. The image display apparatus includes: a light source; a condensing mirror which condenses light emitted from the light source and makes a virtual secondary light source; a light tunnel on which light passing through a color filter is incident; a relay lens system through which light exiting the light tunnel passes; a first mirror on which the light passing through the relay lens is directly or indirectly incident; a reflective display including a plurality of micromirrors arranged on a substrate in a matrix, on which the light reflected off the mirror is incident, wherein each micromirror is turned ON or OFF by individually changing the slope of the micromirrors and thus angles of reflection; and a projection lens which enlarges and projects light reflected from the micromirrors in the ON state, wherein the relay lens system and the first mirror are disposed opposite to each other with an optical axis of the projection lens interposed therebetween.

摘要: A virtual space management system includes: a plurality of space management servers for respectively managing a plurality of partial spaces obtained by dividing a virtual space; and a communication control server for relaying communication between at least one of the plurality of space management servers and a user terminal. Each space management server executes a process relating to a transition in which a position in the virtual space associated with the user terminal transitions from inside a partial space managed by another space management server to inside a partial space managed by the local space management server. The communication control server maintains communication connection with the user terminal during execution of the process relating to the transition, and changes a transmission destination of data received from the user terminal to the local space management server managing the partial space to which the transition has been made according to the transition.

摘要: A foreign object detection apparatus has at least one pair of first and second members which are members configuring a space, in which bills to be processed are deposited, and disposed to face each other to push and sandwich the bills therebetween, the first member provided with antennas made of a copper foil and applied with a voltage from a voltage applying unit and the second member made of a conductive material and grounded to configure a virtual capacitor; a measuring unit which is disposed to measure a voltage generated according to electrostatic capacitance of the virtual capacitor; and a judging unit which judges the presence or not of a foreign object according to a difference between a prescribed reference signal and a changed output voltage from the measuring unit depending on a change in electrostatic capacitance of the virtual capacitor due to the foreign object included in the bills.

摘要: An image display apparatus is provided with a slim design and improved illumination efficiency and which is able to suppress degradation of contrast thereby eliminating ghosts. The image display apparatus includes: a light source; a condensing mirror which condenses light emitted from the light source and makes a virtual secondary light source; a light tunnel on which light passing through a color filter is incident; a relay lens system through which light exiting the light tunnel passes; a first mirror on which the light passing through the relay lens is directly or indirectly incident; a reflective display including a plurality of micromirrors arranged on a substrate in a matrix, on which the light reflected off the mirror is incident, wherein each micromirror is turned ON or OFF by individually changing the slope of the micromirrors and thus angles of reflection; and a projection lens which enlarges and projects light reflected from the micromirrors in the ON state, wherein the relay lens system and the first mirror are disposed opposite to each other with an optical axis of the projection lens interposed therebetween.

摘要: A vehicle warning system has an obstacle sensor for detecting approach of an obstacle to a vehicle, tactile information-generating elements for notifying a driver of the obstacle information based on information received from the obstacle sensor, and a controller for controlling the actuation of the tactile information-generating elements. The tactile information-generating elements are installed in the cushion of a driver seat, with a fore-and-aft and/or left-right arrangement. The controller controls the tactile information-generating elements based on the information from the obstacle sensor as well as information from one or more of a steering wheel-sensor, a blinker sensor, a brake sensor, and a vehicle speedometer.

摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a cartridge storing a plurality of sheet-shaped optical discs in a laminated manner in a state of being accommodated in trays, and a recording and reproducing apparatus of the optical disc. A cartridge stores a lot of trays in a laminated manner. The tray is formed by adhering a flat plate and a flat plate respectively having a smaller hole and a larger hole than a sheet-shaped optical disc, adhering a cover which can be opened and closed to the flat plate, and putting the optical disc in the large hole so as to be covered by the cover. The cartridge is moved up and down by a moving table, and the tray is taken out by being hooked by a hook mechanism. At this time, the cover is peeled out by a peeling claw. The optical disc is fixed to a spindle motor to which a glass disc is attached. The optical disc is rotated while being sucked to the glass disc by a fluid force, and is recorded and reproduced by a recording and reproducing portion. The recording and reproducing apparatus is structured such that the optical disc is turned back to the tray and is compressed to the cartridge by the hook mechanism while being covered by the cover.

摘要: An approach position input device includes a plurality of antennas arranged in the form of a lattice. An oscillator applies a high-frequency ac voltage to the antennas. A signal processing circuit processes signals from the antennas. A change-over switch including switching elements sequentially changes over a connection between the antennas and the signal processing circuit. CPU sends a selection signal to the change-over switch for antenna selection. CPU calculates an approach position of a human body according to signals from the signal processing circuit. CPU instructs the change-over switch to apply the ac voltage from the oscillator only to the antenna selected according to the selection signal.

摘要: In a bill receiving and discharging device having a wheel for winding a tape together with a bill and a reel for winding the tape rewound from the wheel, a bill in which a cut exists at a position at which the bill cannot be held within width of the tape sometimes has a trouble such that the bill is cut into two sections at a time of discharging. In the present invention, in order to eliminate the above-described trouble, a regulating device and a discharging device for guiding an end portion of a bill to an outside of a back side region of the tape are provided.
