Abstract:
An embodiment of the present description provides a method for performing a fallback operation for a voice call, if a UE performed only a single registration, in an environment in which an N26 interface is not provided between an access and mobility management function (AMF) and a mobility management entity (MME). The method can comprise the steps of: for transmission or reception of a voice call, the UE transmitting a service request message to the AMF; and receiving from the AMF a response message to the service request message. The response message can comprise an indicator which indicates a fallback operation without the N26 interface. The method can comprise a step for transmitting an attach request message, which comprises a PDN connection request message, to the MME on the basis of the indicator.
Abstract:
Provided in one disclosure of the present specification is a method for a wireless device attempting network access. The method may comprise the steps of: an RRC layer of the wireless device receiving, from a cell, a first piece of information relating to an NB-IoT RAT; and an NAS layer in the wireless device determining whether to initiate an NAS signaling process even when a backoff timer is running, wherein the backoff timer may be running due to previously having received a rejection message, and wherein when the wireless device uses an NB-IoT RAT and when the NAS signaling process is for transmitting exception data, it may be determined to initiate the NAS signaling process even though the backoff timer is running. The method may further comprise a step of the NAS layer in the wireless device setting an RRC establishment cause of an RRC connection request message as mobile originating (MO) exception data.
Abstract:
User equipment may send a channel allocation request (hereinafter referred to as a first channel allocation request) to a network for transmission of data. When the transmission of data has backed off, the user equipment may send a channel allocation request (hereinafter referred to as a second channel allocation request) again for the transmission of data. At this time, the second channel allocation request may be transmitted to the network together with a priority raise request if a remaining timeframe Tremain of an upper timeframe T is smaller than a certain guard time.
Abstract:
A user equipment can send an EPS mobility management (EMM) message including uplink data to a network node. The user equipment can determine that an EMM process complying with the EMM message has successfully been completed or can treat an EMM process complying with the EMM message as having been successfully completed if the user equipment receives an RRC disconnection, downlink data or service acceptance message for the EMM message.
Abstract:
When the amount of downlink (DL) data for a user equipment (UE), buffered by a network, exceeds a predetermined reference value, the network establishes a user plane connection with the UE by changing a connection mode with the UE. Even when a control plane connection that can be used for user data transmission exists and access to the UE is possible, the network does not transmit the DL data to the UE on the control plane connection, but transfers the DL data to the UE after the user plane connection is established.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for handling a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment procedure. The method may performed by an access and mobility management function (AMF) node and comprise: determining whether to reject a PDU session establishment request. The determination may be performed if the PDU session establishment request includes an existing PDU session identifier. Based on the existing PDU session identifier, an identifier of a session management function (SMF) node may be acquired. The PDU session establishment request may be accepted, if it is determined based the identifier of the SMF node that the SMF node and the AMF node belong to a same PLMN. The PDU session establishment request may be further accepted, if it is determined based the identifier of the SMF node that the SMF node belongs to a HPLMN. The PDU session establishment request may be rejected, if it is determined based the identifier of the SMF node that the SMF node and the AMF node do not belong to the same PLMN or the SMF node does not belong to the HPLMN.
Abstract:
A vehicle assistance apparatus includes an interface unit configured to receive information regarding an electric current provided to a brake lamp of a vehicle. The vehicle assistance apparatus also includes an object detection unit configured to detect an object outside the vehicle, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine, based on the detected object, a speed of the vehicle and also determine, based on the speed of the vehicle and the information regarding the electric current provided to the brake lamp of the vehicle, whether the vehicle undergoes acceleration during a braking operation of the vehicle. The processor is further configured to provide, based on a determination that the vehicle undergoes acceleration during the braking operation of the vehicle, a control signal to restrict further acceleration of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting data and an eNB are disclosed. The method of transmitting data, which is received from a user equipment and transmitted to a network entity by an eNB, can include the steps of receiving a data packet of the user equipment from a first layer different from an IP layer of the eNB in the IP layer, checking whether or not the data packet corresponds to a data packet transmitted by the first layer using a header of the data packet, if the data packet corresponds to the data packet transmitted by the first layer, adding an IP header selected using a pre-stored mapping table to the data packet, delivering the data packet to which the IP header is added to a second layer corresponding to a lower layer, and transmitting the data packet to which the IP header is added to the network entity.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method for operating a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method may include obtaining, by a terminal, a TAI list from a network, identifying, by the terminal, at least one or more TAs through at least one or more TACs in system information that is broadcast, and transmitting a registration request message to the network according to whether or not there is a TA deleted from the TAI list based on the identified one or more TAs.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein a method for operating a terminal in a wireless communication system, and the method may include performing, by a terminal supporting SNPN access, access to a second SNPN based on a credential of a first SNPN as a credential holder, recognizing failure of the access to the second SNPN, and setting validity of the first SNPN in a list of subscribe data as an invalid state based on the failure of the access.
