The present invention relates to a method and a device for a relay device changing a relay role in a Bluetooth mesh network. A method and a device is provided, according to the present invention, wherein a first message is received from a first device, the first message comprising first capability information indicating the capability of the first device, and the first capability information is compared with second capability information indicating the capability of a relay device, and on the basis of the comparison result, whether the first device will perform a relay role is decided, and a notification message comprising the decision result is transmitted to at least one device connected with the relay device.

The present invention relates to a method and a device for a first device transmitting data to a second device in a Bluetooth mesh network. A method and a device may be provided, according to the present invention, wherein an advertising message is received from a second device forming a mesh network, the advertising message comprising a first type field indicating that the advertising message is an advertising message transmitted from a device of the mesh network, and a connection is made to the mesh network on the basis of the advertising message, and a control message comprising a parameter indicating a certain operation is transmitted to the second device through the mesh network, wherein the control message comprises at least one among the address of a first device, the address of the second device, the number of relays as a value, or a second type field indicating the type of the control message.

This specification relates to a method for performing discovery in a wireless communication system. The method is performed by a first device, and includes turning on a direction-based discovery mode, obtains a first direction information related to a user from a second device, wherein the first direction information is information indicative of the progress direction of the user or the view direction of the user, exchanges a second direction information related to the locations of one or more peripheral devices with a third device, and performs discovery for a peripheral device existing in a specific direction among the peripheral devices based on the first direction information and the second direction information.

According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a wireless power receiver for receiving wireless power on the basis of out-band communication is provided. The receiver comprises: a power pick-up circuit configured to receive wireless power from a wireless power transmitter at an operating frequency; and a communication/control circuit configured to perform at least one of in-band communication using the operating frequency and out-band communication using a frequency other than the operating frequency. Here, on the basis of at least one of the received voltage in the power pick-up circuit and a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of a first signal related to the out-band communication, the communication/control circuit may perform a power interruption procedure for interrupting transmission of the wireless power and a disconnection procedure for releasing the connection of the out-band communication.
