摘要: A simple and convenient analyzing apparatus is provided which easily, conveniently, and efficiently collects a material in the state of fine particles adhered to a target object, extracts the object to be analyzed, and analyzes the extracted object. An apparatus for detecting fine particles in a gas which sucks the gas under measurement from the target object by using a suction pump, extracts the fine particles contained in the gas under measurement, and performs measurement by using a spectrometer is embodied such that an inertial impactor for collecting the fine particles having diameters not less than a specified particle diameter is disposed upstream of the spectrometer, the fine particles are collected in the fine particle collector of the inertial impactor, the collector containing the collected fine particles is heated such that the collected fine particles are vaporized into a gas, and the vaporized fluid to be examined is supplied to the spectrometer to be measured thereby.

摘要: An optical apparatus is disclosed which can prevent displacement of subject images due to the initializing operation of the image stabilizing unit from being seen by a photographer through a finder. The apparatus comprises an image-stabilizing unit which includes a movable unit movable for image stabilization and balls movable in conjunction with the movement of the movable unit, and a controller which controls operations of the movable unit. The controller causes the movable unit to perform a specific operation for moving the balls to a specific position within a disappearance period of a subject image in a finder for observing the subject, the specific operation being a different operation from an image stabilization operation of the image-stabilizing unit.

摘要: The following lens apparatus is disclosed.That is, a lens apparatus, which forms an optical image by means of an image taking optical system, is detachably mountable to a camera comprising an image pickup device for photoelectric conversion of the optical image, comprising: an optical element, included in the abovementioned image taking optical system and being movable at least in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis; and a control circuit, which controls the driving of the optical element at an amplitude that is in accordance with information about the pixels of the image pickup device that has been acquired from the camera side. The lens apparatus, which can perform optimal control of the optical element even in combination with various digital cameras that respectively differ in the specifications concerning the pixels of the image pickup device, can thus be realized.

摘要: An image-taking apparatus is disclosed which allows a selection of a type of image stabilization to be used from optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization as required to provide an excellent output image. The image-taking apparatus has an image generator which is operable in a first mode in which it performs electronic image stabilization processing based on a plurality of images sequentially taken with an image-pickup device to generate an output image and a second mode in which it generates an output image without performing the electronic image stabilization processing on an image taken with the image-pickup device. The image-taking apparatus also has a controller which causes image stabilization operation to be performed through driving of an optical system in both of the first and second modes and selects one of the first mode and the second mode.

摘要: A camera system which controls the driving of a focus lens through overlap control with a high degree of accuracy, is disclosed. The camera system comprises a lens apparatus with an image-taking optical system and a camera on which the lens apparatus is mountable. The camera system comprises a focus detection unit detecting a focusing state of the image-taking optical system, a driving unit driving the focus lens unit, and a controller controlling the driving speed of the focus lens unit and controls the focus detection unit to perform a focus detection operation at least once while the focus lens unit is moved. The controller sets the driving speed of the focus lens unit at the time of at least a final focus detection operation while it is moved toward an in-focus position, to a speed decelerated from the driving speed before the final focus detection operation.

摘要: The present invention discloses a camera system comprising: a first focus detection unit, which detects the focusing condition of an image-taking optical system; a second focus detection unit, which detects the focusing condition of the image-taking optical system at a higher precision than the first focus detection unit; and a control circuit, which controls a stepping motor for driving a focus lens. The control circuit performs closed loop control for driving the stepping motor based on the output of a rotation detector, which detects the rotation phase of the stepping motor, when controlling the stepping motor using the information based on the output of the first focus detection unit, and performs open control for driving the stepping motor a predetermined number of steps at a time, when controlling the stepping motor using the information based on the output of the second focus detection unit. The autofocus process is thereby made high in speed and high in precision at the same time.

摘要: A torque converter including a stator rotatable about an axis and having a stator hub, and a thrust bearing mounted to the stator hub. The stator hub has a recessed portion that is recessed from one axial end face of the stator hub. The thrust bearing includes a bearing race received by the recessed portion of the stator hub. A coupling connects the bearing race with the stator hub. The coupling includes a first engaging part disposed on an outer periphery of the bearing race and a second engaging part engaged with the first engaging part and disposed on an outer periphery of the recessed portion in opposed relation to the outer periphery of the bearing race. The first and second engaging parts cooperate to prevent a relative rotation between the bearing race and the stator.

摘要: In an automotive heating system, an engine coolant circuit for circulating engine coolant through an engine of a vehicle is provided with a heat exchanger for transferring heat between the engine coolant and air, and a heat accumulator which stores heat of the engine coolant. The engine coolant circuit has a first coolant circulating path through which the engine coolant from the engine passes the heat accumulator and the heat exchanger in this order and a second coolant circulating path through which the engine coolant from the engine passes the heat exchanger and the heat accumulator in this order. The engine coolant is caused to circulate through the first coolant circulating path when the temperature of heat stored in the heat accumulator is higher than the temperature of the engine coolant while heating is required and through the second coolant circulating path when the former temperature is lower than the latter temperature while heating is required.
