摘要: A prober for measuring the electrical characteristics of a test target object includes a tester, stage, probe card, first sensor, second sensor, and controller. The stage places a test target object thereon. The test target object has a plurality of electrical circuit devices on its surface. Each of the electrical circuit devices has a plurality of electrodes on its surface. The probe card is arranged above the stage. The probe has a plurality of probes. The probes are connected to the tester. The first sensor detects the positions of distal ends of the probes. The second sensor detects the surface position of an individual one of the electrical circuit devices. The controller brings the probes of the probe card and the electrodes of the electrical circuit devices into contact with each other.

摘要: A failure check apparatus for a control apparatus of a vehicle such as ABS. When the failure check apparatus performs initial check for the ABS, it successively activates each of solenoid valves and a motor provided in the ABS, one at a time, for a predetermined time so as to determine whether a failure has occurred in the ABS. At that time, activation of the motor is started when a certain delay time elapses after the end of activation of the last solenoid valve. The delay time is a time which the vibration generated in the control apparatus upon activation of the last solenoid valve converges. Thus, interference between a vibration wave (sound wave) generated upon actuation of the solenoid valves and a vibration wave (sound wave) generated upon actuation of the motor, which differ in nature of vibration, is prevented.

摘要: An information processing unit and methods therefore which render it more difficult to infer information being processed within an information processing unit by observing the unit's current consumption or electromagnetic radiation. Specifically, the information processing unit preferably encrypts and decrypts data when the data is read from/written to memories within the unit. The encryption/decryption process may include the use of multiple cryptographic keys, permutated data storage locations, randomly generated keys, and permutated data processing steps.

摘要: The subject of the disclosed technology is, when a crypto-processing is performed utilizing an information processing device buried in an IC card, etc., to decrease the relationship between the waveform of the consumption current and the contents of the crypto-processing as a countermeasure against a tamper which observes the waveform of a consumption current.A solution means is shown in the following. When a decryption processing of an RSA cryptogram is performed according to CRT, in step 608, for every unit bit block of XP a modular exponentiation calculation is performed, and the partial result of CP up to the calculated bit block is stored in a memory. In step 609, for every unit bit block of XQ a modular exponentiation calculation is performed and the partial result of CQ up to the calculated bit block is stored in a memory. In step 606, a random number is generated, and in step 607, it is decided that step 608 is to be executed or step 609 is to be executed corresponding to the value of the random number.

摘要: In an image processing method of sequentially loading, compressing, and transmitting images to thereby display the images, there is provided the image processing method capable of preventing the images from degradation while keeping the respondibility until the image is displayed. When a changed region is determined to be present, the image is compressed using a method with a high compression ratio, while when there is no changed region and a predetermined period of time elapses, the image is determined to be static to thereby be compressed using a method with a low compression ratio and very little distortion.

摘要: In a rotor of a rotary-electric machine, in order to improve a cooling performance of a rotor winding, in a rotor winding on an end portion of the rotor in an axial direction, the rotor winding being held by a retaining ring of the rotor winding formed by laminating a plurality of conductors in slots of a rotor iron core extending in an axial direction and having a plurality of slots formed at predetermined intervals in a peripheral direction, ventilation channels through which cooling air flows are formed in the surfaces of the conductors along a longitudinal direction. The ventilation channels have air inlet holes which guide the cooling air and exhaust holes which exhaust the cooling air, the conductors provided with the ventilation channels which are formed in the surfaces of the conductors along the longitudinal direction and through which the cooling air flows are laminated to constitute the rotor winding, and the conductors include openings of the air inlet holes in bottoms of the conductors on a side opposite to a side on which the ventilation channels are formed.
