To provide a system, a method and the like for acquiring more images or more quickly focused images. A control device acquires information regarding a situation of a range captured by an imaging device, determines a mode according to an assumed situation of the range captured by the imaging device among a plurality of focusing modes, and transmits designation information specifying the determined mode to the imaging device. The imaging device receives the designation information from the control device, and captures an image using the mode specified by the received designation information.

An image processing system includes a storage device, and a processor coupled to the storage device and configured to extract, from an input image, an aerosol spectrum across a plurality of wavelength bands of the input image. The storage device contains therein a database storing a plurality of predetermined aerosol spectra, and a plurality of corresponding values associated with an aerosol optical property at the plurality of wavelength bands. The processor is further configured to retrieve, from the database, values associated with the aerosol optical property at the plurality of wavelength bands, the retrieved values corresponding to the extracted aerosol spectrum. The processor is further configured to correct the input image, by using the retrieved values associated with the aerosol optical property at the plurality of wavelength bands, to generate a corrected image.

A video encoder 101 encodes image data of an input moving image based on prediction and generates a video bitstream of encoded pictures. A refresh controller 102 refreshes such that a partial area in the picture is assumed as a unit area to be refreshed and the unit area to be refreshed is moved on a picture-by-picture basis. A display-enabled area encoder 103 encodes a display-enabled area for each picture and generating a display-enabled area information bitstream in refreshing. A multiplexer 104 multiplexes the video bitstream and the display-enabled area information bitstream.

A color reproduction method comprises: inputting a first color gamut and a second color gamut; applying, to the first color gamut, a first color correction in which color adaptation is taken into consideration on a basis of reference white in the first color gamut and the second color gamut and a second color correction for matching basic colors in the first color gamut and the second color gamut with each other; applying, to a first color gamut to which the first color correction and the second color correction are applied, a third color correction for correcting a color that is present in colors outside of the second color gamut to colors on a surface or inside of the second color gamut; and generating color conversion information for converting the first color gamut into the second color gamut.
