Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide a class of mesophase separated propylene/α-olefin block interpolymers with controlled block sequences. The propylene/α-olefin interpolymers are characterized by an average block index, ABI, which is greater than zero and up to about 1.0 and a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn, greater than about 1.4. Preferably, the block index is from about 0.2 to about 1. In addition or alternatively, the block propylene/α-olefin interpolymer is characterized by having at least one fraction obtained by Temperature Rising Elution Fractionation (“TREF”), wherein the fraction has a block index greater than about 0.3 and up to about 1.0 and the propylene/α-olefin interpolymer has a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn, greater than about 1.4.
Abstract:
An Internet-coupled transaction service has a link to a computer appliance coupled to a merchant site, the computer appliance operated by a person who has selected one or more products or services to purchase at the merchant site, and who has selected, through the merchant site, the transaction service to arrange payment, and software executing from a computer-readable medium accessible to the service. The transaction service, via the software verifies the identity of the person, determines a credit worthiness for the person, and the score being sufficient, arranges payment to be made to the merchant on behalf of the person, and arranges repayment terms with the person for the payment to the merchant.
Abstract:
An integrated circuit device for processing an access control list. The integrated circuit device includes a first content addressable memory (CAM) including a plurality of CAM blocks to generate respective match indices, each match index indicating a storage location within the corresponding CAM block of an entry that matches a search key. The integrated circuit device further includes a plurality of memory arrays to receive the match indices from the CAM blocks and to output respective lookup values from storage locations indicated by the match indices, each lookup value including information that indicates an action to be taken with respect to a packet used to obtain the search key and information that indicates a priority of the action relative to actions indicated by information in others of the lookup values.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for the synthesis of racemic nerol oxide i.e. 3,6-dihydro-4-methyl-2-[2-methyl-1-propenyl)-2H-pyran from monoterpene alcohol nerol i.e. cis-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-diene-1-ol.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aromatic substituted pentadienoic acid amides and there use in combination of specific amounts of aromatic amides i.e. 4-alkyl-5-(substituted phenyl)-2(E),4(E)-pentadienoic acid amides, its geometrical isomers or their dihydro or tetrahydro derivatives and an anti-infective drug useful in potentiating the bioefficacy of antiinfective drug. The combination of the present invention is useful in the treatment of certain infections and disease at lower concentration of anti-infectives necessary to inhibit the growth of microbial strains and may also find applications in reducing the resistance in microorganisms.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the mda-7 gene, its encoded protein and fragments of the protein. Several of these fragments of the MDA-7 protein exhibit antiproliferative activity and/or inhibited the activity of intact MDA-7. Accordingly, the invention provides, among other things, for methods and compositions that may be used in the treatment of disorders of cell proliferation, including cancer.
Abstract:
Rheology modification of an ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer is achieved by blending the interpolymer with at least one branched polyolefin. The polyolefins can be homopolymers or interpolymers and have a branching index of less than 1. The ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer is a block copolymer having at least a hard block and at least a soft block. The soft block comprises a higher amount of comonomers than the hard block. The block interpolymer has a number of unique characteristics disclosed here. Rheology-modified ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer, i.e., the resulting polymer blends, can be extruded or molded into many useful articles, such as films, sheets, profiles, gaskets, foams, etc.

Abstract:
A handle operating assembly suitable for use with an electric disconnect switch assembly having a circuit breaker. The handle operating assembly comprises a handle operator extending outward from the electric disconnect switch and movable between an ON and an OFF position and a face plate having a slot therein. The handle operator slidably moves in the slot between the OFF position and the ON position. The face plate mounts to the electric disconnect switch assembly and is positionable between a first position to prevent access to the circuit breaker and a second position to provide access to the circuit breaker. The handle operating assembly provides ease of accessibility to the electrical disconnect switch and ease of assembly.
Abstract:
A method and system for automatically performing a discovery of topics within temporal ordered text document collections are provided. The method includes generating a bag of words vector for each text document collection using a predefined dictionary. The method also includes iteratively calculating, based on the generated bag of words vectors, for each text document collection, a hidden topic vector representing topics of the respective text document collection using a calculated hidden state vector memorizing a hidden state of all previous text document collections.
