Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a broadcast or a multicast (broadcast/multicast) scheduling configuration for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), the broadcast/multicast scheduling configuration identifying, for receiving broadcast/multicast communications, at least one of: a plurality of radio network temporary identifiers that are respectively associated with a plurality of beams, or one or more bandwidth parts. The UE may receive a broadcast/multicast communication associated with a broadcast/multicast control channel or a broadcast/multicast traffic channel via a physical downlink shared channel in accordance with the broadcast/multicast scheduling configuration for the PDCCH. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a transmission type for a physical downlink shared channel, wherein the transmission type is a multicast transmission type or a unicast transmission type. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the transmission type for the physical downlink shared channel, a transmission configuration indicator state, of a plurality of possible transmission configuration indicator states, that corresponds to a quasi-co-location assumption, of a plurality of possible quasi-co-location assumptions, for the physical downlink shared channel. The cell type may be a LEO cell type, a geostationary Earth orbit (GEO) cell type, a moving cell type, a fixed cell type, a temporarily fixed LEO cell type, or a permanently fixed LEO cell type. The UE completes selection or reselection of the target cell or completes the connectivity with the target cell, based on the cell type.

However, a frequency, time, and/or power associated with transmission of a SIB1-NB on a non-anchor carrier may not be configured for NB-IoT. In some aspects, the BS may determine parameters, such as a time domain location parameter, a frequency domain location parameter, a quantity of repetitions, a power boosting parameter, and/or the like for a transmission in NB-IoT. In some aspects, a UE may determine to transmit a connection request message on a different carrier than a random access channel message.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a first indication to disable hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for a number of instances of a multicast transport block (TB). The method also includes receiving, from the base station, a second indication identifying a value of the number of instances of the multicast TB. The method further includes receiving, from the base station, one or more instances of the multicast TB. The method still further includes determining, based on the one or more received instances, whether the multicast TB is recoverable. The method further includes selectively transmitting, to the base station, HARQ feedback after all instances of the multicast TB have been transmitted by the base station based on the determination of whether the multicast TB is recoverable.
