Abstract: A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a subset of reference signal (RS) configurations among a set of RS configurations, and transmit a plurality of RSs based on the subset of RS configurations. The RS may be a demodulation RS (DMRS). The plurality of RSs may be configured to span each of the plurality of resource elements (REs) in the active bandwidth part (BWP). The UE may receive the plurality of RSs based on the subset of RS configurations and perform a spur detection based on the plurality of RSs received based on the subset of RS configurations. Each RS configuration of the set of RS configurations may be associated with at least one of the subset of RS configurations that is associated with the plurality of RSs spanning each of the plurality of REs in the active BWP.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for envelope tracking schemes for a node in a wireless communication network. One aspect provides a method for wireless communication by a transmitter device. The method generally includes: combining envelopes associated with subbands of an input signal to be amplified for transmission based on a combination function; amplifying, via an amplifier, the input signal to generate a transmission signal, the input signal being amplified based on a combined envelope signal, representing the combination of the envelopes, received at a supply input of the amplifier; and transmitting the transmission signal to a receiver device.

Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow for a base station to transmit code blocks according to a frequency first per layer (FFPL) mapping, and for a UE to decode received code blocks according to the FFPL mapping. The base station maps a plurality of code blocks to multiple layers, where each of the code blocks is mapped to a plurality of resource elements initially by frequency and subsequently by time on only a single layer of the multiple layers. The base station then transmits data including the code blocks to a UE. Afterwards, the UE receives the data including the mapped code blocks in multiple layers from the base station, and the UE decodes the code blocks based on the mapping. Thus, improvements in link efficiency, reliability, and reduced power consumption compared to frequency first (FF) mapping approaches may be achieved.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication to transmit tone reservation signaling, configured to reduce a peak-to-average-power-ratio for one or more of the UE or the base station, on one or more subcarriers outside of an allocated bandwidth that is allocated for an uplink communication scheduled for the UE. The UE may transmit, to the base station, signaling that includes the uplink communication within the allocated bandwidth and the tone reservation signaling on the one or more subcarriers. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication of a change in a non-linearity model associated with a power amplifier of the base station. The UE may update a model associated with the power amplifier based at least in part on the indication. The UE may further update at least one parameter associated with slicing received signals based at least in part on the indication. In some aspects, the UE may use at least two coefficients when slicing. Numerous other aspects are described.
