摘要: When producing molded foam parts from liquid reaction components, the charge of gas in the initial components has a significant effect on the foam structure and quality of the molded part. This invention provides a process and apparatus for introducing a gas into at least one of the liquid reaction components prior to mixing said components for reaction. The component which is to be charged with gas is circulated from a feed tank through a recycle circuit to a compression zone which is maintained at a higher pressure than that of the feed tank. Said gas is admixed with said component at the point of initiation of the compression zone and the higher pressure is relieved through a throttle element prior to returning the gas-charged component to the feed tank. A finely divided stable gas dispersion which can be mixed with other components for reaction is obtained.

摘要: A volume flow sensor of the gear wheel motor type having a pair of circular gear wheels which are mounted in a housing on fixed axles by means of ball bearings and without wall contact so as to rotate freely. At least one non-magnetic inset is positioned within the housing in the region of the teeth of one of the gear wheels. The inset has two poles of a material of good magnetic conductivity passing through it, the ends of the poles nearer to the gear wheel are situated substantially on the same gear wheel diameter and the other ends of the poles are positioned adjacent a field plate differential sensor. In order to produce useful signals from which reliable counting pulses can be derived, even with broad teeth, in particular with teeth of module greater than 3, the poles are arranged in the inset with their ends separated in such a way that the ends of the poles adjacent the gear teeth are at a greater distance from one another than are the other ends adjacent the plates of the field plate differential sensor. The poles may be in the form of pins which, starting from the end surface of the inset nearer to the field plate differential sensor, lead through the inset with oppositely directed slopes. It is also possible to make the poles from a plurality of pole elements, the inner elements of which are pole pins arranged at right angles to the end surface of the inset adjacent the gear teeth and which engage with pole pins extending from the peripheral edge of the inset.

摘要: An antilocking control system for vehicles in which control signals for controlling a pressure regulating unit associated with two wheels or two groups of wheels are produced in an evaluating circuit from the signals of at least one sensor associated with these wheels or groups of wheels and in which the pressure is at times controlled based on the rotational behavior of the wheel first tending to lock (select-low) and at times based on the rotational behavior of the wheel being the last to show a tendency to lock (select-high). During the select-low mode of operation the duration T.sub.1 of the pressure buildup phase following a pressure reduction phase is measured until there again occurs a tendency to lock at at least one wheel and then the mode of operation is switched to the select-high mode. During the select-high mode of operation the duration T.sub.2 of the pressure increase period is measured and the result is continuously compared with the measured duration (T.sub.1) of the pressure buildup phase during select-low operation. When the measured duration T.sub.2 reaches a given relationship to the duration T.sub.1, the select-high mode of operation is continued for a given duration T.sub.3 after which the mode of operation is switched back to the select-low mode. A switching arrangement is provided which responds if, during the select-high mode of operation, the second wheel (or group of wheels) also shows a tendency to lock before a given time duration T.sub.2 has been reached, to effect switching back to the select-low mode of operation.

摘要: The invention relates to a device and to a method for controlling a coupling system having a coupling provided with a hydraulic actuation system, which includes an adjustable coupling part for connecting and separating a power transmission path between a coupling input side and a coupling output side, a hydraulic connection that connects the actuation unit to an electrohydraulic actuator that is arranged outside the coupling, and a control unit for controlling the actuator. The hydraulic connection forms a hydraulic system together with hydraulic components of the actuation unit and the actuator. According to the invention, a mechanical stop that delimits the adjustment of the coupling part on the actuation unit is formed. A pressure sensor monitors the pressure in the hydraulic system or a control signal of the actuator. The pressure sensor detects an installation of the coupling part on the stop based on occurring characteristic alterations of the pressure in the hydraulic connection or the control signal and controls the electrohydraulic actuator in accordance therewith and/or produces a diagnosis signal.

摘要: The circuit element has a first layer composed of an electrically insulating substrate material and a first electrically conductive material which is in the form of at least one discrete area such that it is embedded in the substrate material and/or is applied to the substrate material. Furthermore, it has a second layer having a second electrically conductive material, and a monomolecular layer composed of redox-active bispyridinium molecules, which is arranged between the first layer and the second layer. The bispyridinium molecules are immobilized on the electrically conductive material which is in the form of at least one discrete area, and make electrical contact with the second electrical material of the second layer. Furthermore, electrically inert molecules are immobilized on the first layer, which molecules form a matrix which surrounds the at least one discrete area with the monomolecular layer composed of bispyridinium molecules.
