摘要: A vehicle tracking device (101), method and/or system are provided. The device (101) includes a location interface (117), for receiving a location signal indicating a current location when operably connected to a GPS antenna; a sensor interface (109), for receiving sensor signals from sensors in the vehicle indicating a sensed status of the vehicle, when electrically or electronically connected to the sensors; and a processor (105). The processor (105) is configured to facilitate receiving, from the location interface, indications of a current location; determining, responsive to the location signal, a determined current location of the vehicle (127); receiving, from the sensor interface, a sensed status of the vehicle (129); recording a pre-defined event condition, when the pre-defined event condition occurs (131) responsive to the sensed status, in a vehicle history; and recording the determined current location in the vehicle history (133).

摘要: An active network defense system is provided that is operable to monitor and block traffic in an automated fashion. This active network defense system is placed in-line with respect to the packet traffic data flow as a part of the network infrastructure. In this configuration, inspection and manipulation of every passing packet is possible. An algorithmic filtering operation applies statistical threshold filtering to the data flow in order to identify threats existing across multiple sessions. A trigger filtering operation applies header and content match filtering to the data flow in order to identify threats existing within individual sessions. Threatening packet traffic is blocked and threatening sessions are terminated. Suspicious traffic is extracted from the data flow for further examination with more comprehensive content matching as well as asset risk analysis. A flow control mechanism is provided to control passage rate for packets passing through the data flow.

摘要: A system is provided for selecting connection paths in a telecommunications network having a multiplicity of nodes interconnected by a multiplicity of links. The system identifies multiple constraints for connection paths through the network between source and destination nodes, and identifies paths that satisfy all of the constraints for a connection path between a selected source node and a selected destination node. A system is also provided for optimizing utilization of the resources of such a telecommunications network by establishing connection paths through the network between selected source and destination nodes, the established connection paths satisfying the constraints; for each established connection path, determining whether other connection paths exist between the selected source and destination nodes, and that satisfy the constraints; and if at least one such other connection path exists, determining whether any such other connection path is more efficient than the established connection path and, if the answer is affirmative, switching the connection from the established connection path to the most efficient other connection path.

摘要: A method and a machine readable storage for handling failures during security exchanges between a station (125) having a wireless network adapter (130) and a first access point (110) of a wireless local area network (WLAN) (105). As part of a WLAN association process, the method can include transmitting from the station to the first access point a message including a station identifier (170). A first protocol exchange timer (180) also can be started. Responsive to a timeout of the first protocol exchange timer, an association retry counter can be incremented. The WLAN association process can be restarted if the association retry counter is not greater than a retry counter threshold. If the association retry counter is greater than the retry counter threshold, the wireless network adapter can be commanded to enter sleep mode.
