    摘要: An OLED display system includes a display device having an array of light emitting pixels, each pixel having a plurality of OLEDs for emitting different colors of light specifying a gamut and at least one additional OLED for emitting a color of light within the gamut, wherein the power efficiency of the additional OLED is higher than the power efficiency of at least one of the plurality of OLEDs; means for generating a control signal indicating an amount of contribution to the light output of the display provided by the additional OLEDs; and a display driver for receiving a standard color image signal representing relative luminance and color to be produced for each pixel of the display and generating a converted color image signal for driving the OLEDs in the display, the display driver being responsive to the control signal for controlling an amount of light produced by the additional OLEDs such that the power efficiency of the display may be increased and/or the rate of degradation of the display device may be decreased.

The inner cannula is driven by a rotary motor and a reciprocating motor. Both motors are constructed of a MRI compatible material.

    摘要: Methods for displaying an image on a color display having a target display white point luminance and chromaticity, and including three gamut-defining emitters defining a display gamut and two or more additional emitters which emit light within the display gamut; the method including receiving a three-component input image signal; transforming the three-component input image signal to a five-or-more component drive signal; and providing the drive signal to display an image corresponding to the input image signal. One method provides a reproduced luminance value higher than the sum of the respective luminance values of the three components of the input signal when reproduced with the gamut-defining emitters. Another method provides reduced power in an OLED display including a white-emitting layer with three color filters for gamut-defining emitters and two or more additional color filters for three additional within-gamut emitters.

    摘要: A biopsy device having a stylet, an outer cannula, and a vacuum chamber is disclosed. The stylet includes a lumen with an open proximal end and a tissue receiving opening near a distal end thereof. The outer cannula is slidably disposed over the stylet and has an open distal end with a cutting edge formed thereon. The vacuum chamber is in communication with the lumen of the stylet. Actuation of the outer cannula causes a vacuum to be delivered to the tissue receiving opening through the lumen of the stylet before the outer cannula advances distally.

    摘要: A biopsy device having a cutting element is disclosed. The cutting element includes an inner cannula having a tissue receiving aperture disposed proximate a distal end thereof and an inner lumen. The inner cannula is slidably disposed within the inner lumen of an outer cannula. A vacuum chamber is disposed about at least a portion of the cutting element and is configured to create a vacuum in the cutting element during a biopsy procedure. The inner cannula is advanced distally outwardly and to cause the vacuum to be generated in the vacuum chamber. The vacuum is delivered to the cutting element whereby tissue is drawn into the tissue receiving aperture. The outer cannula is advanced distally outwardly after the inner cannula such that tissue drawn into the tissue cutting aperture is severed.

In one embodiment, the display device has an electronic display having an active area for presenting visual content; a housing holding the electronic display and having an opening allowing a person to view a first portion of the active area; and a bezel about the opening, the bezel covering a second portion of the active area and providing a window through which at least a part of the second portion can be viewed. A sensor system senses when a person is close to touching the bezel or when a person is in touch with the bezel and generates a sensor signal; and a controller is operable to adjust the appearance of the active area in the part of the second portion when the controller determines that a person has touched the bezel or is close to touching the bezel.
