    摘要: A method of making a micro-louver structure includes coating a curable layer on a surface and imprinting a pattern of micro-channels in the curable layer. The micro-channels have a greater depth than width and are spaced apart by a separation distance greater than the width. The curable layer is at least partially cured to form a cured layer. A light-absorbing material is coated over the cured layer and in the micro-channels and at least a portion of the light-absorbing material removed from the surface of the cured layer leaving at least a portion of the light-absorbing material in the micro-channels. The light-absorbing material is cured to form a light-absorbing structure in each micro-channel.

    摘要: An electronic sensing system has a transceiver with input and output pads, an excitation circuit connected to the output pad, and a detection circuit connected to the input pad. An electrically-conductive sensor patch has an electrical state that changes with exposure to a corresponding environmental factor. The detection circuit detects an electrical state of the input electrical-connection pad in response to the excitation signal and the electrical state of the sensor patch. A stack of one or more layers in order is disposed over the sensor patch in the detection region. Each layer is susceptible to a respective environmental factor, so that the sensor patch changes electrical state in response to exposure of the layer stack to the respective environmental factors of the one or more layer(s) in the selected order and subsequent exposure of the sensor patch to the corresponding environmental factor.

    摘要: A method of controlling a display includes providing a plurality of pixels, each pixel including only three light-emitting sub-pixels. The plurality of pixels includes a first sub-set of first pixels and a second sub-set of second pixels having locations alternating with the first pixels. Each of the first and second pixels includes a first sub-pixel emitting light of a common first color. The second pixels include a different sub-pixel emitting light of a different color that is not emitted by the first pixels. The light emitted by the sub-pixels of the first pixels defines a full-color gamut and the light emitted by the sub-pixels of the second pixels defines less than a full-color gamut. A controller converts a received image signal to a display signal for controlling the light emitted by the sub-pixels with the display signal.

    摘要: An electronic storage system includes a substrate with a state region, a transceiver with memory and a controller, and a code circuit disposed over the substrate separate from the transceiver and electrically connected thereto. The code circuit includes a conductor whose electrical or mechanical state can be externally altered.
