Abstract: A 5G or pre-5G communication system is provided to support higher data transmission rates after 4G communication systems such as LTE. To support communication of a terminal that dually accesses a first radio access technology (RAT) communication system and a second RAT communication system, a session generation request message for transmitting traffic is received from a terminal. A target communication system that is to generate a data path with respect to the traffic from the first RAT communication system and the second RAT communication system is determined, the data path for the target communication system is configured, and information about the configured data path is transmitted to the terminal.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for converging IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than a 4G system, and a system therefor. The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology (e.g. smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, etc.). A method for receiving image data for a virtual-reality streaming service by an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step in which the electronic device determines whether to execute an adaptive virtual-reality streaming service on the basis of a bandwidth state; and a step in which, if it is determined to execute the adaptive virtual-reality streaming service, the electronic device requests and receives, from a server, the image data for the adaptive virtual-reality streaming service on the basis of head-tracking information and bandwidth information collected in advance.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus of cooperating with a plurality of base stations in a wireless communication system. A cloud cell is configured with a plurality of base stations that cooperate with each other for a mobile station and synchronizes user contexts for serving the mobile station among the plurality of base stations included in the cloud cell, and the plurality of base stations cooperate with each other to provide a communication service to the mobile station. The present disclosure reduces generation of a handover when the mobile station moves between base stations, and increases the data yield of the mobile station by transmitting and receiving data in cooperation with base stations in a cloud cell at a shaded area or a cell border.

The present invention provides a method for providing a service by a target base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: when the target base station supports an on-going service, which is the same service as a service currently received by a terminal from a source base station, transmitting, to a base station server, a service registration update request message requesting a re-establishment of a first bearer provided between the source base station and the base station server connected to the source base station; receiving, from the base station server, a service registration update response message indicating that the re-establishment of the first bearer is accepted; and receiving data related to a service, provided from the base station server, through the first bearer re-established between the target base station and the base station server, and transmitting the data to the terminal.
