Abstract:
A controller is provided with a CPU, an EEPROM for storing data that is unique to a vehicle and which is rewritable, and a control ROM for performing parking assistance upon parking in lateral and parking in parallel, based on a minimum turning radius Rc of the data that is unique to the vehicle, which is stored in the EEPROM, and the CPU operates based on the control program stored in the control ROM. The controller 1 calculates a yaw angle of the vehicle from an angular speed of the vehicle inputted from a yaw rate sensor and information about an operation method and operation timing in each step during the drive for parking in lateral and parking in parallel is outputted to a speaker through calculating a turning angle of the vehicle, thereby appropriately assisting a driver with parking.
Abstract:
A hose clamp comprises a clamp ring made of a metal strip rolled into a loop with its ends overlapping each other. First and second pinches are projected up from the ends of the metal strip in the radial direction. The first pinch has a frame, which defines an opening inside the frame, and a stopper wall swelling into the inside opening from a corner of the frame. The second pinch has an operation chip extending in the width direction of the cram ring. A stopper rises from the clamp ring near the root of the second pinch. The hose clamp has a clamping position, at which the first and second pinches are apart from each other, and a loosened position, at which the first and second pinches are very close to each other. At the loosened position, the operation chip of the second pinch sticks out from the clamp ring in the width direction of the clamp ring.
Abstract:
An information center sends an OK message for a log-in and version information for a menu to a moving body terminal device. The moving body terminal device compares the version number of the menu held therein and the informed version number. If they are different, the device asks for menu update. In response to the request, the information center supplies difference data indicative of the difference between the menus of different versions to the moving body terminal device. Using the difference data, the moving body terminal device updates the menu held therein. With this arrangement, the menu used in the moving body terminal device can be effectively updated.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel pyrimidine derivative represented by the general formula (1): (wherein R, R4 and R8 are the same as defined in the specification) or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which possesses an excellent activity for inhibiting the formation of NO (nitrogen oxide) in vivo.
Abstract:
A fluid pressure source apparatus has a pump, an accumulator, a pressure switch, and a control device for turning on and off the pump in accordance with the signal from the pressure switch. The control device has a pressure increase control unit. When the pressure detection signal of the pressure switch indicates a high pressure, the pressure increase control unit estimates a pressure reduction N resulting from a fluid pressure consumption by a fluid pressure circuit. If the estimated amount of pressure reduction N exceeds a set value KN=KN1, KN2, the pressure increase control unit drives the pump for a set time KT=KT1, KT2, thereby ensuring a predetermined range of accumulator pressure despite a possible failure of the pressure switch or sensor.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus is provided with a main body including a key-control section, a connecting section rotatably provided with respect to the main body and an input display section which is rotatably connected to the connecting section and enables pen-input. The information processing apparatus is capable of taking three positions: a stored position, a key-input position and a pen-input position. The center of rotation of the input display section and the connecting section is set at the back of the input display section. The connecting section serves as a stopper for controlling the rotating movement of the connecting section, and enables the rotatable range of the input display section to be controlled within 180.degree. without requiring a special mechanism. Thus, the input display section can be prevented from contacting the key-control section of the main body by over-rotating in the pen-input position. Moreover, since the input display-section is supported by the connecting section, the input display section can be held in stable conditions both in the key-input position and in the pen-input position.
Abstract:
A head-up display apparatus includes a display device for displaying various items of information and a combiner provided in front of an eye of a viewer in a visual field of the viewer, which combiner allows an outside image lying in the visual field to be passed through it and which reflects an image displayed by the display device so that the outside image passed (transmitted) through the combiner and the displayed image reflected thereby are integrated in the same visual field of the viewer, the combiner being configured to be of a substantially spherical shape with a concave surface facing the viewer, and the display device being provided in such a position that a display can be directly observable from the outside through the combiner.

In the connector assembly, an inner packing which is set in close contact with the inner cylindrical surface of the front end portion of the inner housing of the male connector is mounted on the outer cylindrical surface of the inner housing of the female connector, while an outer packing which is set in close contact with the inner cylindrical surface of the outer housing of the male connector is mounted on the outer cylindrical surface of the outer housing of the female connector.
Abstract:
This invention provides a condensed pyrazole derivative of the Formula (1): ##STR1## (where A denotes CH or N, R.sup.0 and R.sup.3 denote same or different, a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 denote same or different, a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a lower alkylthio group, a nitro group or a halogen atom, m denotes 1 or 2, and n denotes 1, 2 or 3, provided that, when n is 2, two R.sup.2 may be connected to each other to form a lower alkylenedioxy group), or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. This derivative or its salt is excellent in the effect of inhibiting the expression of action of androgen, thereby being excellent in therapeutical effect of benign prostatic hypertrophy, prostatic carcinoma, etc., and has a long lasting of efficacy and high oral absorption.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an interneuron crossrelation identification technique and an interneuron connection-structure estimation technique for inferring a connection-structure and the strengths of the connectivities among a plurality of neurons required for constructing a neural network model, by obtaining crossrelations among time-course data of neurons. The interneuron crossrelation detection technique may include steps of: calculating conditional probabilities by, among other things, normalizing crosscoincidence histograms calculated from time-course data of activities of the neurons representing a train of action potentials of the neurons representing a train of action potentials of the neurons, and comparing trains of symbols representing time-course states of the activities of the neurons; distinguishing an inhibitory connectivity form an excitatory connectivity by comparing the conditional probabilities to each other; and quantitatively estimating the magnitude of crossrelation among the time-course data. The interneuron connection-structure estimation technique may include steps of: computing conditional probabilities by normalizing cross-coincidence histograms calculated from time-course data of activities of the neurons representing a train of action potentials of the neurons; computing conditional mutual information and three-point mutual information from the computed conditional probabilities; and inferring a connection structure among the neurons.
