    摘要: In a dewing-trouble-prevented water-proof connector assembly, its male connector is engaged with its female connector in such a manner that the front end portion of the inner housing of the male connector is engaged with the front end portion of the inner housing of the female connector in such a manner that the inner cylindrical surface of the front end portion of the male connector covers the outer cylindrical surface of the front end portion of the female connector, and the front end portion of the outer housing of the male connector is engaged with the front end portion of the outer housing of the female connector in such a manner that the front end portion of the outer housing of the male connector covers the front end portion of the outer housing of the female connector. In the connector assembly, an inner packing which is set in close contact with the inner cylindrical surface of the front end portion of the inner housing of the male connector is mounted on the outer cylindrical surface of the inner housing of the female connector, while an outer packing which is set in close contact with the inner cylindrical surface of the outer housing of the male connector is mounted on the outer cylindrical surface of the outer housing of the female connector.

    摘要: There is disclosed a connector for an electric car which can be of a small size, and the cost is reduced, and the efficiency of a fitting operation is enhanced. A female terminal is mounted in a tubular female housing, and a slide cover is slidably mounted on an outer periphery of the female housing. Tapered holes are formed in an electrical contact portion, and ball bearings are received respectively in the tapered holes. Projected portions for limiting outward movements of the ball bearings are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the slide cover. A groove, in which the ball bearings, projected into a bore of the electrical contact portion, are engageable, is formed in the male terminal.

    摘要: A pressure-welding type electric terminal according to the present invention is constructed such that it comprises an electrically contacting section and an electric wire connecting section which is composed of an electric wire pressure-welding section and an electric wire retaining section, wherein the electric wire pressure-welding section further comprises: a sub-plate section provided at one part of a longitudinal side of the base plate by way of a connecting portion and superposed on the base plate, which sub-plate section being integrally provided with a sub section having two consecutive elongate holes; an upright section formed with a slot therein for receiving an electric wire, which upright section being formed by vertically folding the sub section; and a pair of fixing pieces for firmly fixing the superposed sub-plate section at the front and rear sides of the upright section respectively.Since the present invention is constructed as such, even when an electric wire rather on the fat side is pressed against the wire pressure-welding section to electrically connect thereto, it will not be expandedly deformed neither forward nor backward, providing thereby a sufficient durability.

    摘要: A connector housing assembly having a ring-like packing formed integrally with a resin housing member to provide an improved sealing function at a reduced manufacturing cost. The housing is formed by resin molding using male and female molds. In one embodiment of the invention, the first male mold is removed and replaced with another male mole shaped so as to form a hollow portion corresponding to the desired shape of the packing. Rubber material is poured into the hollow portion through lead-in paths in at least one of the female mold or the second male mold. In another embodiment, the two molds used to form the housing are both removed, and the first male mold is replaced with a second male mold defining the hollow portion used to form the packing.

The O-ring is located at the proximal end of the hood portion which is to face the device. The elastic seal ring and the O-ring are integrally formed with each other through disengagement prevention portions and connecting portions of the elastic seal ring. The disengagement prevention portions extend through the proximal end portion of the hood, and each of the connecting portions interconnect their respective disengagement prevention portions with the O-ring.

    摘要: An electrical connector capable of achieving proper positioning and redundant retainment of terminals therein by the single operation of attaching a retaining member. The retaining member has salient portions which extend into chambers holding the terminals. Upon attachment, the retaining member is constrained to move, from a position behind the terminals, in a directin parallel to a longitudinal axis of the chambers. Accordingly, installation of the retaining piece urges the terminals into proper position and engagement with an auxiliary retaining device. In addition, the retaining member can be fixed relative to remaining portions of the connector so as to cause the salient portions thereof that extend into the chambers to provide additional retainment to the terminals.
