摘要： In a mobile communication system, a coding apparatus receives 5 information bits and generates a code symbol stream comprised of 20 coded symbols. The coding apparatus generates 5 coded symbol streams having a length 32 by encoding the 5 individual information bits with different Walsh codes having a length 32, and generates a coded symbol stream comprised of 32 coded symbols by XORing the 5 coded symbol streams in a symbol unit. Further, the coding apparatus generates a code symbol stream comprised of 20 coded symbols by puncturing 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, and 30th coded symbols among the 32 coded symbols.

摘要： A mobile broadcast system for delivering a notification event for generation of a notification message for information provisioning to a subscriber receiving a broadcast service is provided. The mobile broadcast system includes a first apparatus for managing subscriber information of the broadcast service, handling generation of at least one notification message according to at least one notification event, and generating a response message indicating generation end of the notification message; and a second apparatus for sending a notification event message for requesting generation of the notification message to the first apparatus according to the at least one notification event, receiving the response message in response thereto, and then handling delivery of the notification message over a broadcast channel or an interaction channel.

A request message is generated including notification event information and appropriate attributes indicating a change in the BCAST service, and is transmitted to a Notification Event Function (NTE) in a BCAST Service Application block, which generates a notification event, and transmits a response message indicating the generation result to the CC. The NTE transmits the notification event to a function in a BCAST Subscription Management block to generate a notification message indicating the notification event, to be transmitted to a terminal receiving the BCAST service.

摘要： A method and apparatus is provided for transmitting information necessary for the generation of a service guide for a mobile broadcast service in a broadcast system supporting the mobile broadcast service. A Content Creation (CC) block transmits a service guide request message including various sources necessary for the generation of a service guide to a Service Guide Application Source (SGAS). The SGAS transmits the service guide request message to a Service Guide Generation (SG-G) unit over a backend interface. The SG-G generates a service guide using various sources included in the service guide request message, and transmits a service guide generation completion message indicating completion of the generation of the service guide to the SGAS.

摘要： An RNC determines parameters available for measurement of a synchronization signal and second Node B information from a second Node B, transmits the determined parameters to a first Node B during radio link setup and to a UE during radio bearer setup, and transmits parameter selection information to the first Node B and the UE, if it is recognized that measurement of the synchronization signal and the second Node B information is necessary. The first Node B changes a position of a downlink time period over which a downlink channel is transmitted from the first Node B to the UE and a position of an uplink time period over which an uplink channel is transmitted from the UE to the first Node B, according to parameters selected from the parameters. The UE receives the synchronization signal and the second Node B information in the remaining time periods except the changed downlink time period and the changed uplink time period among the plurality of time periods.

The authentication system is configured in a structure that can interact with a public key infrastructure of the current network security environment and can be independently used in a specific network system. The inclusive authentication method is divided into public key authentication and symmetric key authentication. Mutual authentication can be made between a service provider, a terminal and a user identity module using any of the two authentication schemes. Then a user can access content on any terminal device using the content license based on the user's identity.

摘要： A method for broadcasting channel information, available channel and data rate of a base station in a CDMA communication system. The base station receives information indicating that a mobile station has data to transmit, over an access preamble channel. The base station transmits use status information of physical channels and maximum available data rate information on a status indicator channel. The mobile station receives the use status information of physical channels and the maximum available data rate information through the status indicator channel from a base station. The mobile station transmits to the base station an access preamble for requesting allocation of a given physical channel determined depending on the use status information and the maximum available data rate information.

The method assigns by a radio network controller a cell identifier related to the MBMS available in a cell that includes the user equipment. The cell identifier is different from an identifier used in an upper layer. The method also transmits to the user equipment a control message that includes the cell identifier.
