Abstract:
A focusing device for use in micro film readers or the like for projecting micro images to give in-focus conditon exactly and readily. The present device includes a memory for storing a distance data representing the distance between an original and a projective lens at in-focus position thereof, and a sensor for measuring the distance between an original and the projective lens wherein the projective lens is moved to the in-focus position by a focusing motor in response to the distance data stored in the memory and a signal representing the measured distance generated from the sensor.
Abstract:
An electric power management system includes a power generation apparatus for generating electric power, a power meter for receiving grid-connected information and a power conditioner for outputting the electric power generated by the power generation apparatus to the electric power system based on the grid-connected information. The grid-connected information is information related to stabilization of electric power of an electric power system from a management center for managing the electric power of the electric power system.
Abstract:
A disclosed base station includes a communication unit configured to receive from a mobile station a first report signal including base station specification information specifying a base station, reception quality information indicating reception quality of a signal received from the specified base station, and change request information requesting to change communication quality between the mobile station and the specified base station; and an automatic area control unit configured to determine whether the base station is specified by the base station specification information, to obtain location information indicating the location of the mobile station if the base station is specified by the base station specification information, and to change at least one base station parameter based on the reception quality information and the location information to change the reception quality at the location of the mobile station.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system includes an association requesting unit provided in a base station and configured to request a base station controller, which is an upper node, to associate the base station with a tracking area; and a state control unit provided in the base station controller and configured to monitor entry or appearance and exit or disappearance of mobile stations in and from the tracking area associated with the base station, to cause the base station to transition to a serving state if at least one of the mobile stations enters or appears in the tracking area, and to cause the base station to transition to a radio-unit-inactive state if all of the mobile stations exit or disappear from the tracking area.
Abstract:
A radio communication control device includes a radio parameter update determination portion, a transmission power value change portion and a radio parameter update portion. The radio parameter update determination portion determines whether or not to update a radio parameter relating to at least one of a communication frequency and transmission power to a new radio parameter. The transmission power value change portion performs a transmission power change process to change a transmission power value during data transmission to a radio communication station to a smaller value in stages at predetermined intervals when the radio parameter update determination portion determines to update the radio parameter to the new radio parameter. A radio parameter update portion updates the radio parameter to the new radio parameter when the transmission power value change portion changes the transmission power value to a preset lower limit or less.
Abstract:
In a mobile communication system including Home eNBs, information on mobile stations permitted to access each Home eNB are registered, and the permitted mobile stations are connected to the Home eNB at substantially the same time as the registration of the access permission. In order to control access to a user targeted base station, the information on mobile stations permitted to access the user targeted base station is supplied to the user targeted base station. The information on the mobile stations is transmitted to a mobile communication management apparatus. The mobile station registration is stored in the mobile communication management apparatus in association with the user targeted base station. When the mobile station has entered a location registration area covering the user targeted base station or exists in the location registration area, the mobile communication management apparatus transmits connection information for the user targeted base station to the mobile station.
Abstract:
A pneumatic tire having shoulder blocks defined on a shoulder side of the tread surface by lateral grooves extending in the widthwise direction of the tire beyond a ground contact end of the tire, the shoulder blocks being arranged in the circumferential direction of the tire. A bottom-raising portion is provided only on a bottom of every other lateral groove of the lateral grooves. Two shoulder blocks adjacent in the circumferential direction of the tire are connected by the first bottom-raising portion.
Abstract:
A communication control device is provided which efficiently utilizes wireless resources to improve communication quality and system throughput by appropriately setting and performing node transmission power. The communication control device in a wireless LAN system includes a sender 206, a receiver 207, and an inter-AP communication function 211 for determining, based on at least one of wireless information obtained by measurement of a wireless signal by an access point 103 or a station 104a, or reported wireless information, whether or not there is a neighboring BSS, and a transmission power determination function 210 and a transmission power setting/update function 205 for setting and updating the transmission power of the access point 103 and the station 104a in its own BSS when there is a neighboring BSS in which all the access point have the control function of the transmission power, on the other hand, for maximizing the transmission power when there is no neighboring BSS or when there is a neighboring BSS that does not control the transmission power.
