摘要: An optical pickup apparatus has an optical system and an objective lens. The optical system has a semiconductor laser and an optical element. The semiconductor laser has an astigmatic difference in which an oscillated light beam has a light emission point in a semiconductor junction plane different from that in a plane normal to the semiconductor junction plane. The optical element is arranged in a light path of a light beam radiated from the semiconductor laser for over-correcting the astigmatic aberration of the light beam radiated from the semiconductor laser. The objective lens converges the light beam radiated by the light source via the optical element.

摘要: Drug compositions of angiogenesis therapy contain gene coding for human prostacyclin synthase (hPGIS) synthesizing prostaglandin I2 with activities of vasodialation and/or anti-platelet aggregation; drug compositions contain adeno-associated virus (AAV) inserted with gene for angiogenesis factors. The administration of the drug compositions into the aimed treatment region results in transfer of AAV type 1-hPGIS to skeletal muscles and induces a notable expression of human PGIS gene in skeletal muscles. The PGI2 is produced by mediation of the gene expression in the muscle cells, secreted, induces vessel-protective, neovascularization and anti-platelet aggregation actions, which lead to an improvement in vascular ischemia.

摘要: When a PC 10 connects to a PD 20, the PC 10 decides whether or not the PD 20 holds a group ID and if the PC 10 decides PD 20 holds the group ID, PC 10 decides whether or not the group ID held in the PC 10 and the group ID held in the PD 20 coincide with each other. If the both IDs are not decided that they don't coincide with each other, the PC 10 acquires a device ID corresponding to PD 20 from PD 20 and transfers the device ID and a terminal ID of the PC 10 to a server apparatus 32. Then the PC 10 receives, from the server apparatus 32, a user link completion information representative that an association between first user ID corresponding to the terminal ID and second user ID corresponding to the device ID is completed.

摘要: An information-processing apparatus, reproduction apparatus, communication method and computer program are disclosed wherein an evaluation value can be added automatically to contents stored in a storage apparatus or medium. The information-processing apparatus comprising an acquisition section which acquires, from a portable reproduction apparatus which is capable of reproducing contents data, reproduction history information of the contents data in the portable reproduction apparatus. An evaluation value arithmetic operation section arithmetically operates a computed evaluation value corresponding to the content data based on the reproduction history information acquired by the acquisition section. A transfer section transfers the computed evaluation value arithmetically operated by the evaluation value arithmetic operation section to the portable reproduction apparatus.

摘要: A plating method, employing a face-down manner of plating and using a resistor body between a substrate and an anode, can securely bring an entire surface to be plated of the substrate into contact with a plating solution without permitting intrusion of air bubbles to the surface to be plated. A resistor body is disposed above the anode and immersed in the plating solution, allowing the plating solution to flow along an upper surface of the resistor body from the periphery toward the center of the resistor body. Thus, a raised portion of the plating solution is created in the center of the upper surface of the resistor body. The substrate is then lowered with the surface facing downwardly so as to fill the space between the surface to be plated of the substrate and the upper surface of the resistor body with the plating solution.

摘要: The present invention provides a stable salt of 3′-phosphoadenosine 5′-phosphosulfate (PAPS) and a production method therefor. The present invention is directed to a stable salt of PAPS (amine salt), which is formed between PAPS and an amine compound, and to a method for producing a stable salt of PAPS, which includes adding an amine compound to an aqueous PAPS solution in an amount by mole equal to or greater than that of PAPS, and lyophilizing the resultant solution. The present invention has first realized production of a solid-form PAPS salt having considerably improved stability through a very simple technique. Since the thus-produced amine salt of PAPS is very stable, the salt can be stored or employed without taking much care about decomposition thereof at ambient temperature.
