摘要: A back exerciser is portable, stores in a collapsed position, accommodates people of all different sizes, and allows one to safely exercise all the muscle groups in one's back using resistance provided by one's own weight. First and second pairs of support legs are pivotally connected together at one end of each. Pivotal movement between a collapsed position and an operative position in which the legs of the supports have an angular relationship of about 45.degree.-75.degree. with respect to each other is provided, with positive stops supporting the legs in their maximum angular orientation. The first legs have an angle of about 20.degree.-30.degree. to the vertical. A platform is mounted for movement between a first position in which it is between and parallel to the legs of the first support, and a second position in which it is generally horizontal and disposed above the second support legs. With the platform in the first position one can exercise one's upper back by standing on rungs extending between the legs of the first support legs, engaging the platform with one's legs, and bending one's torso over the second support. With the platform in the horizontal position, one can exercise the lower back by laying on the platform, gripping the legs of the second support with one's hands, and raising one's legs separately or in unison to progressively tense the muscles of the lower back.

摘要: A filter for a refrigerator, with the filter including a housing having a main wall and a peripheral wall extending from the main wall to define a cavity. A filter body and a cooling plate may be coupled to the housing and positioned within the cavity. A cover may be coupled to the housing and have at least one inlet opening and at least one outlet opening spaced from the at least one inlet opening. The cover may be transitional between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the cover may extend over the cavity and define a fluid flow path from the at least one inlet opening, across the filter body, and through the at least one outlet opening. At least a portion of the cavity may be exposed as the cover transitions from the closed position toward the open position.

摘要: A grill, such as a gas-fired grill, can employ a light assembly for illuminating a cooking area and/or a fuel gage that can be more readily and accurately read to determine an amount of fuel in a fuel tank. The light assembly includes a light source, which is mounted to an upper one of two discrete lids. The light source can be selectively illuminated via a switch. The switch may be coupled to a handle that is employed to open and close the second lid. The handle can be coupled to a side of the lid so as to position the switch in a location that can be relatively cool. The fuel gage can employ a pivoting platform, the motion of which may be employed to determine an amount of fuel in the fuel tank.

摘要: An inorganic nanocomposite is prepared by obtaining a solution of a soluble hydrezine-based metal chalcogenide precursor; dispersing a nanoentity in the precursor solution; applying a solution of the precursor containing the nanoentity onto a substrate to produce a film of the precursor containing the nanoentity; and annealing the film of the precursor containing the nanoentity to produce the metal chalcogenide nanocomposite film comprising at least one metal chalcogenide and at least one molecularly-intermixed nanoentity on the substrate. The process can be used to prepare field-effect transistors and photovoltaic devices.

摘要: Hierarchical testing systems and methods for testing communication systems are disclosed. Testing functions which test entities such as equipment or services of a communication system are classified into testing function groups. The testing function groups have an order which is based on an order of operational dependencies in the communication system. Testing functions to be performed for a particular entity to be tested are selected from testing functions for testing the entity itself and testing functions for testing other entities that have an operational dependency with the entity to be tested. Related data structures and user interfaces are also disclosed.
