摘要： An apparatus, printing machine and method for replenishing an aquatron liquid reservoir in an aquatron charging device. The print media (e.g. paper, vellum, etc.) releases liquid from the print media during fusing. A condenser creates condensate from the liquid released by the print media which is collected in a conduit and transported using air flow into a collection container. This collection container can be the aquatron liquid reservoir, or a separate collection container that pumps liquid to the aquatron liquid reservoir, thus, enabling replenishing the liquid supply of the aquatron liquid reservoir within the printing machine. Sensing devices measuring liquid concentration resistance in the aquatron liquid reservoir and/or the collection container control the liquid level of the reservoir and/or collection container.

摘要： An intermediate transfer member includes a base layer and a top thermoplastic film forming polymer layer. The base layer can include carbon and the thermoplastic film forming polymer layer can include electrical property regulating materials. This intermediate transfer member shows improved mechanical as well as electrical properties. It can be employed in an electrophotographic imaging device having at least one photoreceptor and can print an image on a suitable substrate such as paper with improved toner image formation.

摘要： A seamless intermediate transfer member has a reinforcing member in an endless configuration, a filler material such as a polymer and electrical property regulating material to regulate the electrical properties such as surface and bulk resistivity, dielectric constant and charge dissipation. The seamless intermediate transfer member also has good mechanical properties. The reinforcing member can be prepared by any suitable method such as by weaving. Filler material and electrical regulating material can be applied on, around or embedded into the reinforcing member. The member can be employed in an electrostatographic imaging system with more than one toner imaging station. The member can pick up a separate image from each individual imaging station and transfer the combined image to a suitable substrate. The seamless intermediate transfer member is capable of dissipating charge between toner imaging stations, achieving good transfer efficiencies and has a non-stretch characteristic to attain good registration of a toner image.

摘要： An apparatus for developing a latent image that contains a housing with a supply of a developer of carrier and toner and a coated toner donor member, which member is spaced from the surface on which a latent image Is being recorded. The apparatus also includes a means for advancing the developer material in the chamber of the housing and this means cooperates with the donor means and both means define a region wherein a substantially constant quantity of toner is deposited on the donor member. The apparatus further includes an electrode means positioned near the surface of a dielectric core roll and these electrodes are biased to detach toner from the donor member and to form a donor cloud for developing the latent image. The coated toner transport means can be comprised of a core with a coating of an oxidized polyether carbonate.
