摘要: A wireless resource allocation control system for allocating and releasing wireless resource used for communication between vehicles in a predetermined area is provided. The control system includes a unit mounted on a vehicle, and the unit includes a transmitter for transmitting first information associated with the vehicle. A station receives information from the unit and sends information to the unit. The station calculates a priority level for each of the units on the basis of the first information transmitted from each of the units, ranks the units in the order of the priority level, allocates wireless resources to the units in descending of the priority levels, and releases the wireless resource previously allocated to the unit in the case of the unit unworthy of current allocation of the wireless resource.

摘要: A pedestrian navigation system provides distance information and travel directions to a destination. The system includes a pedestrian navigation device for navigating a pedestrian's route by means of a vibration, a server for offering navigation information to the pedestrian navigation device, a network for connecting the pedestrian navigation device with the server to permit communication between each other, and a GPS for offering position information to the pedestrian navigation device. Further, the pedestrian navigation device can include a speaker for outputting a guide voice based on the user's present position information, so as to start a voice guide after generating vibration, thereby facilitating verification of the guidance information provided.

摘要: In a dye-sensitized photovoltaic device including a semiconductor fine particle layer 2 on which a sensitizing dye is adsorbed, a counter electrode 3, and an electrolyte layer 4 between the electrodes, a molecule having a plurality of acid functional groups for adsorption onto the semiconductor electrode is used as a molecule of the sensitizing dye, and part of the acid functional groups is neutralized with an alkaline compound which is a hydroxide of at least one metal or compound selected from the group consisting of Li, Na, K, tetramethylammonium, tetraethyl ammonium, tetrapropyl ammonium, tetrabutyl ammonium, an imidazolium compound, and a pyridinium compound. In this manner, a dye-sensitized photovoltaic device that can achieve high photoelectric conversion efficiency even in the cases where a dye containing readily aggregating acid functional groups, such as carboxylic acid, as the adsorbing groups is used. A method for making the device is also provided.

摘要: A multi-band antenna is adapted to operate in a first frequency band and a second frequency band which is higher than the first frequency band. A first antenna element is adapted to operate in the first frequency band, and has a first end which is electrically connected to the power feeding point and a second end which is electrically made open. A second antenna element is adapted to operate in the second frequency band, and has a third end which is electrically connected to the power feeding point and a fourth end which is electrically connected to the ground conductor. An electrical length of the first antenna element is set to ½ wavelength of the second frequency band, and an electrical length of the second antenna element is set to ¼ wavelength of the first frequency band.
